To me, Lucas messed up the first two movies in 3 key ways:
1. Jar Jar's role should have been limited to Naboo, as Jar Jar contributes nothing to the story when off Naboo. (Personally, I think Lucas put Jar Jar in solely to showcase what ILM can do.)
2. Anakin should have been older, fourteen ot sixteen, in EP1. Old enough to have the hots for Amidala, and maybe even fall in love with her. This would have reduced the demands to create a relationship from whole cloth in EP2.
You do not state what operating system you are using, so it is not easy to answer this question. However, speaking generally, there seems to be about a million ways to organize audio files.
I had the easiest time managing MP3s when I was running BeOS. There was a tool call MP3 Army Knife, IIRC, that made it very easy to copy ID3 tags back and forth to BeFS file system attributes. (Using BeFS queries to create playlists was the bomb!)
When I switched to NetBSD, I kept all my audio files in a single directory and used links to organize things into albums.
After NetBSD, I moved to Mac OS X and depend on iTunes for management of my audio files.
If I was a Windows user, I would give Foobar2000 a look.
Something that I am curious about: does Spotlight actually look inside audio files for information, or does it simply index information in the iTunes database?
For example, if I have an MP3 file in my home directory, and it has not been added to iTunes's database, can Spotlight still find the file based on ID3 information?
Personally, I find the Dock to be a waste of screen real estate. I keep it at its smallest size, empty and hidden; I prefer to usee Quicksilver to launch applications.
Personally, I would love to see a worldwide Libre (Free) Software Developer Appreciation day. The authors of free software have given all of us so much, that some thanks and recognition would seem to be the least we could do for them.
A. Archy doesn't quite fit into the traditional mold of either an application or an operating system. It is an application in that it runs on top of your current operating system, but it is more than that. It's also like an operating system in that it provides a framework for issuing commands.
Yeah, there really needs to be a public comment period for patents before they are granted, but I think that the patent office is more interested in collecting fees than being correct.
I can't understand why anyone, except the unexpecting, would even take Brown or ADTI seriously at this point, given the ludicrous and obviously false statements that have been making.
Face it ADTI: you are nothing more than unethical Microsoft whores.
While I was in the US Navy, they started a DNA cataloging program, which they claimed was only intended to help identify people in the case of death. They claimed that the information would never be shared and would be discarded after discharge.
It has been 8 years since I was discharged. Want to bet that my information is available to law enforcement, even though I have never been convicted or accused of a crime?
"The KDE developers should follow Apple's lead and focus more on the needs of users, instead of insisting on software perfection."
Are these two things really mutually exclusive?
And check out this beatiful crontab from the Gentoo forums:
What's In Your Crontab?
"Winamp. It's the best!"
Have you tried Foobar2000? It's free, and probably the best player for Windows.

3. Midiclorins
Don'y worry, it will still be a mystery to Luke.
That's how I was hoping it worked, but I could see someone trying to take a short cut and just use the information that is in the iTunes library file.
Cliff,

But the problem is not in the copying of ideas as much as copying and calling it "innovation". Somebody should buy Micosoft a dictionary.
Speaking as a subscriber, no.
Software Freedom Day. I like it!
Really? I have never heard this term used as a reference for piercing. Is that usage specific to a particular country?
Personally, I would love to see a worldwide Libre (Free) Software Developer Appreciation day. The authors of free software have given all of us so much, that some thanks and recognition would seem to be the least we could do for them.
How about OpenSSH vs SSH?
Now my spam can find me anywhere on earth. Thanks!
You know, I noticed that after I posted. I was wondering if someone was going to bust me!
Q. Is Archy an application or an OS?

So, uh, you recreated Emacs?

What I want to know is, how did this come up in the subcommittee in the first place? If you ask me, somebody's hand is being greased.
Short of it going down hard, I see no reason to leave Del.ico.us for this service. Del.ico.us has given me more than I have ever given it.
I agree with you, but that software is TWM! ;)
Okay, who didn't see this coming?
