The problem is that a lot of his ravings can't be argued against since they are just bizarre conspiracy theories where he draws lines between things. They are the sort of conspiracy theories that would make Alex Jones and David Icke blush.

Olbermann has a sort of analysis of Beck here, though he mostly just let Beck's insanity speak for itself. I thought it interesting, though, that Glenn Beck has a communist paperweight.

If food supply was controlled by small group of companies who each got together to charge prices such as $10 for an orange, and excluded some people from being able to even enter one of their grocery stores, yes there would be legal reform with respect to food. We don't have that situation with respect to food, but a similar situation does exist with health care.

The other day I watched this documentary "Race and Intelligence" in which they asked the same question (and also why certain Asian Americans score higher than European Americans)

The key here is Asian-Americans, not Asians. You see, for a long time, the US largely brought over Asians who excelled and didn't allow just anyone from Asia to immigrate to the US. That's one reason why it is a little skewed. The other reason does have something to do with Asian-American culture. Most Asian parents in America do instill a culture of hard work and learning in their kids. But, if you actually go to Asia, you'll find that they are not any more or less intelligent that Caucasians.

Thus far, I've had a couple of friends move back to China and one move to Singapore (he's Indonesian) for jobs. The reason: they can't find a job in the US anymore.
