While that subreddit isn't exclusively for tiling window managers, it can give you an idea of some of the customization and personalization that's possible with both the look and the configuration/usability of these window managers.

The problem with being full stack is there's still only X hours in the week. Just because you have the capability to do everything doesn't mean you have time. They still have to hire someone to do the work you don't get to even if you have the capability to do it.

From subtle advertising for brand awareness (e.g., that Nike ad you saw on the way to work on the side of a bus) to paid placement (e.g., those adword results in the google searches as you researched products). It's never going to outright cause you to pick a specific product, it influences your decision. It most of the time will ensure their product is at least part of the evaluation, which it might not have been otherwise.

That's possible, or maybe you just don't need iTunes. I backup all my photos by just plugging my phone in via USB and copying the files off, I install apps and updates over the air. 16. he existence of other fighter pilots with more experience doesn't disqualify these specific pilots' experience or expertise.

I'm not trying to disqualify anyones opinion, I'm just pointing out the huge continuum between "first flight off a carrier" and someone flying for 20 years. It's entirely possible they just haven't seem something like this before.

Neither you nor I have any experience with this in-flight imagery platform besides a handful of YouTube videos to even remotely analyze the movement of this object or its possible genesis. This whole video boils down to the pilots' reactions as experienced military aviators in combination with the imagery platform's video.

I've got less than that, I have no idea. I agree unless this was something they just weren't aware of, something secretive being tested. Being a military aviator doesn't mean you've seen everything, or even most things. Shit, even someone REALLY experienced might not have seen this particular thing, or maybe it's so new no one's seen it. There's just so many possibilities. While I agree based on my laymen's understanding of the term UFO, this is a UFO - it's something flying that we can't identify. I just worry about all the people who immediately jump to "aliens".

  17. I think you're discounting the experience of fighter pilots.

What is the experience of these particular fighter pilots? Have we asked any other fighter pilots with more experience what it could be? It honestly didn't even seem to be going that fast to me, just that it was close to the water. It was also flying in a very straight line. It could be a cruise missile test, who knows?

It is absolutely first gen technology, and the resolution isn't where it needs to be, but the feeling of "presence" you get strapping on a Vive headset/controllers is a completely unique experience. There are some of really fun games, like Raw Data or The Gallery: Call of the Starseed, or the Rec Room mini-games are amazing, epsecially with friends.

If this isn't something you're really excited about, wait for gen 2 before buying, unless you just have a lot of income. Windows 10 is the LEAST consistent Windows UI ever. It's split between this Windows 10 interface and the traditional old windows system. Just take the control panel for example. Some settings are in this new UI model which is a rip off of the OS X system configuration and the other half are still a jumbled mess in control panel. In every version of Windows up until Windows 8 I probably would have agreed with you but it's an absolute mess now.
