You should check out Autodesk Fusion 360 (http://fusion360.autodesk.com/about) as they have a free edition for hobbyist and monthly rental if you are commercial.
Autodesk has a cloud based CAD software, Fusion 360, which you can rent monthly. It does allow you to export files for 3D printing. http://www.autodesk.com/produc...
Agreed! I gave up on my electric and tried out a double edge safety razor and bought 120 razor blades for $19. I can never go back to an electric or a Mach 10000 Pro with 8 blades razor.
I thought if you forgot your pattern or pin, then it asks you to authenticate with your google account. If user remembers that, they can login to the phone. Wouldn't this prevent X number of guesses from being made?
This can be done with a window tiling manager, like my setup of awesome wm and arch distro. I never use the mouse, have plenty of window layouts, and use keyboard to manipulate everything on the screen.
Surface roughness can be used to transition the boundary layer from a laminar to a turbulent flow. Early separation on an airfoil causes an increase in drag. You can trip the flow with surface roughness, suction/blowing, trip wire, etc to make it turbulent and repair the separation.
Now relating to the article I am guessing they have a turbulent boundary layer which is why sand particles are being sucked in and slammed against the blade. Having a laminar BL would prevent sand from entering it?
One of the reasons I took a chance on buying Xbox 1 was that I knew Microsoft would keep pumping money into it instead of letting it failed. That Xmas morning with my brother was a blast playing Halo campaign in co-op mode!
I found this tutorial great for showing how linear algebra relates to gaming: http://blog.wolfire.com/2009/07/linear-algebra-for-game-developers-part-1/
I wish my linear algebra teacher taught this way, we never got any real life examples, just straight plug and chug linear problems. I went to Virginia Tech, freshmen math classes are a big disappointment there.
Just signed onto Kazaalite, and there are only 3,243,065 users currently on. I think the RIAA suceeded in making sure those listed in the article don't increase that number...
And I been boycotting the RIAA since Napster was beta:)

Probably because the source paid Slashdot to post it in hopes of getting subscribers to sign up. I am going to guess the conversion rate is 0%.

I just started my first major python application to replace live mesh as I want local sync across windows and my Linux boxes at work.
Selective pricing... like when Virginia Tech charged me an extra $30 per credit hour for my engineering classes.
I played on a 56k modem that averaged to about 500ms. You quickly learn how to lead railgun shots.

Since the laws mean nothing in the US anymore. TrueCrypt goes into great detail about making a decoy OS: http://www.truecrypt.org/docs/?s=hidden-operating-system

I been using Facebook Blocker add-on for Chrome (works with Firefox, etc) and I assume it is working behind the scenes: http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/
All my engineering and aerospace books for school say "Not for Sale in US", do bookstores really think I am going to drop $1000?
I pay 16 euros for 3 months (~$22) for BlackVPN in the Netherlands. Plus I get free months when I search for referral codes or give my friends mine.
