I recommend greylisting. It's a somewhat dubious way of dealing with it, but I can't remember the last time I received a spam-ish mail, must be more than a year ago. I really have no idea how big a problem spam is these days because I just don't get any, even though my address can be found by googling.
some idiot sends me anti-female email as if he thought I was female.
Right, and this is what allegely happens more in FOSS in general, which seems to be backed up by the statistics. That's the problem, not that OpenBSD specifically would be some haven of lady-haters, or other. That link was kinda lame though, I admit that (though I didn't put in in the thread originally).
I think it would, though I haven't actually seen it. Consider the recent World Cup, it'd have been so much nicer to be able to see who's who on the field, even in wide overview camera angles.
Not sure how much of an OS you could call it, since you cannot return to it: you must turn the machine off and on in order to return to the main menu. I can hardly imagine a need for any hardware abstraction, other than what can be provided by libraries in an SDK. The simplest way of designing it is to have games/apps have direct control of the hardware, which makes sense. Having something resembling what we commonly refer to as an OS would be completely unnecessary, though nothing prevents you from implementing one, of course. The thing is, with Opera + web calendar/word/mail, is there any point?

That was after he started spinning.
220V-240V Yes, but 50Hz is more common.
No no, most games are rated M for 'manure', and nearly everyone follows that.
I mean, I don't have any scratch marks.
On my cd's. I mean.
Presumably they meant to talk about something ... bridgésque.
I'll have a party on 6.12.8, for my old Amstrad.
Actually, this is a dupe from way back in '86.
You're right, but there are different kinds of stupid.
Not quite, women ask for help first, but men try to do it themselves first by random twiddling.
Disclaimer: I'm a guy.
I prefer forward-spinning toilets, easier to catch the tissues as they fly by..
So what do they do, suicide thunderstorms?
Oh great. Bejeweled with 50GB of FMV.

There already was one "worst videogame ads", this is more of the same from a later period.
Short backslash preview for new readers of some of the comments below:
- Whether or not this is sexist
- Whether or not the attitudes of male slashdotters/geeks/FOSS devs is enough to deter females from entering the field (general opinion: yes, probably)
- 13% of CS PhD's are received by women, 12% of devs are women, but only 2% of FOSS devs are women, what's up with that?
- subthreads
- women have to put up with crap
- sexism, etc.
- counter to the sexism claim
- insightful post on difference between men/women, and insightful reply
- IT and Asperger's Syndrome

This random quick-recap brought to you by your friendly recapper, second time and running, I have prior art on Backslash.Carry on.
Men don't like desperate women either, but usually don't think twice.
Not me, I s'ympathize with the other ones.
Now that is a crafty link I'd never had thought of. It really underlines the importance of sanitizing user input.
Wait, do you mean China or the US?
