So are they going to ditch the PS3 support with this one? i still have my PS2 sitting in my living room for that reason.

while a good idea in theory, I would suggest 3 levels of power. 5v, 12v, and 24v. 5v would work just fine off USB and could simply use a mini-b connector. I have alot of car audio toys that draw 12v and they get HOT. (xm, HD Radio)

12v for printers and routers, net-books... things that need more draw, but still not too demanding.

I have 24v in there because I have yet to see a full size laptop that draws less than 16v.

you know i think it's funny, I bought a $60 Radio shack outdoor antenna, and it works alright, but if i take a $9 rabbit ear from wall-mart (RCA if you care) I can recive digital from grand rapids michigan. considering I set this up in my mom's house on the west side of Milwaukee, I thought it was pretty cool. (on a side note, where she sits, we can get about 7 analog channels, but we get somewhere around 20 digital)

My expirience is that they lie to people. I am about 4 hours away from my mom and she wanted to be able to use her USB drive from her laptop. I sugested the Linksys NSLU2 (not by name) I told her to goto best buy and ask about a NAS with USB, as i was at a friends house and didn't have access. About a hour later she called me from best buy and she said the geek squad guy said such a thing didn't exist, and that her only option was a $300 hard disk. This was last week, after I got home i hit the web and ordered it in 2 minutes. Ironicly, until they started the geek squad, I had no problems with the staff at these stores, and usually had inteligent conversations with them. Now there just a bunch of idiots that look "spiffy"

I got my Logitech Headset about a year ago, paid $50 for it when all the motorola sets I was were $100+ My only beef with Bluetooth is it has a hard time with my leather jacket (phone sitting in my left pocket, earpiece on my right ear, very crackly unless i tilt my head) Mabe Spread Sectrum will help? hope so.. I guess it'll also mean i'm gonna wait before getting a Bluetooth Phone. (right now using a BT adapter on my phone now, very clunky)

But your're still missing the point here,
consider a fm only walkman vs a personal video player.. to display video in a human consumable format, requires more electricity larger devices, larger batteries..
I have a Zen Micro and a Zen Vision, the battery life is about the same, even though my micro is mono color and my vision is full color, (aside from diffrent codecs) now, I'm not talking video vs audio, just playing audio. you're assuming that they WILL use the bluetooth for playing video and such, when they could just use it for printing, or syncing a E-mail account. something that BT devices ALREADY DO NOW, just faster, reducing the time connected, and thusly, presumably, using less power.

But it can also be a matter of convinience when they chose the bank they sis choose. For example, I use Bank A because it's only a block away, but the nearest branch where my mom lives is 2 towns away. (northwoods, 30 min away) Bank A has no problems with any browser I throw at it, but bank B only works when you allow popups. (minor annoyance, but you get the point for average joe user) Then you have the problem of when someone has the bright idea of Re-doing a site, which usually breaks everything, My cell-phone company recently did this, and now it doen't work to pay my bill online except through IE. Actually, it was forbidden to touch your phone lines when it was first invented, if you wanted a different hand-set or another line, you had to call the phone company and have a tech come out and do it for you.
