  1. Surrender/truce on ZDNet Examines SCO Indemnity Options · · Score: -1

OK, it looks like once again I've overstated what I wanted to say in my other post: I at no point, intended to threaten anyone. The worst - and this would be only if John turned out much worse than he actually did - would be to say to his parents something along the lines of "Your son cares more for his 'jihad' than he does for your privacy." etc but NO THREATENING OR ACTUAL HARM. But he didn't so that is moot anyway. Currently, I bear no ill will towards him and have no intention of using the data I have in any way.

At this point, I want to propose something between a truce and a surrender. You want me to say you win? Fine. You win. You trolled, I lost. Sure.
This probably seems suspicious, so I should explain my reasoning. This battle is not only utterly pointless and annoying, but is skirting harassment and legality. For what? Pride? Keep your egos. You win.
Go ahead and defame me. Continue to call me a faggot, liar, nazi, whatever. Just keep it in slashdot, and I'll do the same. (And get a new account.) That's the 'truce' part. The 'surrender' part is this: I concede to being 'pwn3d'. You care, I don't, and you are better trolls than I am. Continuing this 'war' will never benefit either party. At best, we'll waste a lot of time and annoy each other. At worst, someone could end up in jail. To quote Wargames: "An odd game. The only winning move is not to play."
Like I said, all I ask is that it remains in slashdot.

To make it perfectly clear: IF IT WILL END THIS STUPID WAR, YOU WIN.

....That's funny. I didn't realize UC's address book was that badly maintained. I moved out of there last quarter. My former roommates will probably get a kick out of it, though. And by the way, i have the name, address, job (phone number, boss's name - Ed), photo, parents' address and phone number, and photo of dad, of the owner of anti-slash. Now would be a good time to put this whole thing to rest. Maybe we can come to an agreement: I won't post John's personal information for the troll-haters to see, and he stops letting posts about me on the front page of anti-slash. You lose.

In case you want to know why I'm posting at -1, the other Anonymous Coward is part of a group called 'GNAA', either a part of or another name for Anti-slash, who posted some garbage. I disagreed, (overreacted a bit) and got repeatedly modded to hell because I was not acclimated enough to slashdot troll culture to post Anonymously. It was smart of you to do that, by the way - you would've gotten dragged down with me, and accused of supporting those who support censorship, etc etc.
And by the way, to whatever anonymous coward replies to this - yes I know, "poster is a known troll" yadd yadda. Let the mods decide for themselves whether to mod something up or not. And I encourage them to read the entire GNAA thread, and decide for themselves whether I'm a nazi or a victim.

Okay, here's a good first nugget for you: I have a '90 Toyota Camry, light blue, desperately in need of a car wash.
I spend very nearly every waking moment I'm not in class online - most days, that's upwards of 14 hours.
I think what you were hoping for is that better car = more internet? I think I've single-handedly demolished that claim... oh wait, there's more. Of the first 4 friends of mine to pop into my head:
    1) '91 Camry, spends all of his free time online, probably about 8 hours a day
    2) No car, spends all his free time online.
    3) No car, spends all his free time online.
