    I would argue that there's nothing simple about Windows 10. Everything I try to do with it is at least far more difficult if not just outright impossible, whereas everything I want to do is easy under Linux.

    Most people are lazy and complacent. They don't want to put any effort into thinking new thoughts even if it would result in removing some of their burdens, at least they are burdens they are already familiar with.

    More like failing short of basic human decency. ...and note how they still tried to shift their mistake back on the family by smugly implying they somehow the family has unusual expectations.

    The drug companies already avoid cures, as that would eliminate their customers.
    They just make drugs that temporarily suppress symptoms (and often introduce others) just so they have a repeat customer base.

    That's because in those instances something better came along.
    I don;t see 3.5mm jacks are obsolete tech. Bluetooth is a step backwards. More reliant on batteries, less secure, lower sound quality. Where's the upside?

    It's a terrible idea and sucks badly unless you're that kind of person, and also find that perfect partner. In nearly all cases that I've seen and experienced, pair programming just degenerates into endless discussions around philosophical differences and battles of egos, and with 2 people, there's also no one to tie-break.

    For me at least, I've repeatedly found there's not any way to get the job done more quickly/effectively than just leaving me alone to get it done on my own.
