Depends how you're picking up the pieces though. You could buy a Rubik's Cube at retail for ten bucks if you wanted. The beauty of Lego is that everybody had some. Garage sales are your friend.
that makes a business out of it. http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2870.html They definitely count on people not being able to tell what they're getting, and even if the switch is discovered, they charge a 'restocking' fee. Pretty sick.
I was five minutes from buying memory from these clowns when I discovered that site. It boggles my mind that they're still in business, but I check back every couple of weeks to see what new colourful language is being used ("It's like two people running a business out of their bedroom or something.").
Slightly OT, I know, but would anyone be interested in building an open-source website mocking SCO? I already regged two good domain names, registrations lasting for two years (Which should coincide with the end of this case). What stuff should I put on it?
Dunno, compromising pics of Darl and Prince Charles?
Yeah right. We have the entire United States military focused on the War on Terror. What do you think the chances are we're going to have terrorists in 2050?
It's not eBay; they've actually surprised me in that respect. To date, I haven't had a single spam (and where there's one, there's a million) on the address I use. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I doubt it.
Takes about two minutes to check one network against their dictionary list, slightly longer for more, so you can really do both. Dictionary while you're waiting for airsnort, just in case.
DEADBEEFF00D is a good one. Actually, if you do something like grep -iv [ghjkmnpqru-z]/usr/shareorwhatevah/words, you can get a decent list (4300-ish), with typical leeto substitutions ('5' for 'S' etc.).

Normally it's a pain in the ass to grab anything linked here, but I'm currently getting 1180K/sec, and it's going up. Thanks Slashdot! Thanks BitTorrent!
You know, like how the Palestinian suicide bombers and infiltrators specifically targets civilians, whilst the Israeli military does not?
Gimme a fucking break. You don't honestly believe that, do you? Say that again the next time Israel levels an entire neighbourhood because there may or may not have been some 'terrorists' hiding there.
You mean Explore2fs?
Yes, it reads ext3. And yes, it's free.

Way off. America wants (and needs!) a weak dollar right now. It's certainly more of a stimulant than the insane tax cuts.
Only if they're unladen penii.
People get pedantic insisting that 'data' be used as a plural in English, but the same people never use 'agenda' as a plural.
Agenda hasn't been used as a plural since the 19th Century. That might have something to do with it.
They don't call it 'stoned beaver' for nothing. Talk about odd problems...
Like so.
Voila!
Results 1-15 of about 4429 containing "red ink flows like a river of blood"
even funnier is when you go to the fourth result, "Alternatives to Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP" and you get this quote from Microsoft:
Microsoft provides alternatives for most open source products.
Well, until they can provide alternatives for all of the open-source products I use, I don't think Windows is ready for the desktop.

No wonder they can't find Saddam. He's at an airport in Brussels (or is it Amsterdam?) waiting for the guy to show up.
On the same note, I guess it would be appropriate to ask the Gnome developers why Gnome needs five clocks...
To tell the time, silly.
Hey, the Amish called. They have an opening.

Don't answer that.

As explained elsewhere, Deutsche Bank's making money whether the stock goes up or down, so they don't care too much what happens, really.
It doesn't _hurt_ to enable the MAC address protection though.
It's next to useless. It doesn't hurt, but it doesn't help. If somebody's cracking your WEP key, MAC addressing isn't even going to slow them down.
And if they are stupid enough to hijack your MAC while you are using it (and to figure out the MAC they'd first have to break the WEP),
Not true. You can get the client MACs within seconds, without cracking anything.
you'd know pretty quickly that something was going on.
How?

The companies providing the ads pick what keywords they want to match. 'Engines' is probably one of those.
Searched the web for a steaming chunk of goat turd by any other name.
See, 21 results. You have to actually search on its other name.

Much better, no?
