At work I run an http proxy and if the server does not identify the content/type the proxy will deny it. This happens on all browsers on all platforms behind the proxy so the msn results page looks like crap. Otherwise it works fine at home. I sent my proxy log to them... will they fix it? I don't really care I don't use msn.

strange? the nvidia drivers have always worked fine for me in 9.2, 10 community and this release 10.1. Although I did an upgrade to 10.1 rather than a clean install and had to reinstall the nvidia driver , but nvidia's install found the previous install and removed it and installed the new one just fine.

I do wonder, since I got the club release if this download contains the updates? On some machines konqueror would freeze completely after pluging in a usb key.

  14. hmmm on Too Many Computers Hurt Learning · · Score: 1

Well my son is almost 5 years old now and he has a computer in his room. He plays educational games and such. Normally I will show him once how to start one of his games and then it's up to him after that. He normally does very well and finds the proper CD and runs the game (ie Reader Rabbit). Once in awhile he'll run into computer related problem and asks for help but otherwise he does pretty good. I see this as a very good reason for him to have a computer at 5 years of age. I wouldn't know how it will be in 10 years but I imagine I will supervise his activity just as I do now with TV.
