Actually there are reports that people experience a form of bi-polar syndrome after tripping. This is from the excellent Psychedelic Experience FAQ" available on The Lycaeum.
* Bi-polar syndrome ("emotional rollercoaster")
A form of depression. As the name indicates, the syndrome consists of alternations between mania (happiness) and depression (sadness), with no obvious reason for the cycling up and down. The period of cycling varies from days to minutes, with the amplitude of the effects eventually dying down to zero within two weeks or so. Unfortunately, there isn't much one can do about it except wait it out and enjoy the fun parts, but maybe just being aware that the depression is chemically induced and will end may help. Oddly enough, unlike other post-trip phenomena, it appears that this syndrome does not correlate with dose and this may well happen even after a non-spectacular low-dose trip.
I have personally experienced this after taking 'shrooms, and it wasn't fun, but like they say, knowing that it's chemically induced does help.
Here's my theory on why KM has been in jail so long:
The feds realized quickly that he was a pretty good hacker, they also realized he could be useful. They then brought him in on some top secret information warfare projets. Now he gets to play all day with some seriously fun top secret equipment, and bangs away on foreign governments and industries. The whole Jail thing is just a cover up.
err, maybe I've been reading too many spy novels or something.
(off topic: how come we haven't seen an artile about The Matrix on/.? Go see this movie! NOW!)
> what if someone root's your machine, then roots one of the school's machines
Why should rooting a students machine help them root one of the school's machines? If the school's box gets cracked, it's the schools fault, not the students. The only advantage the cracker should be able to get from coming through the student's box is a little more anonymity, but he could get that anywhere.
It's clearly divided between prequel stuff and the old stuff, so you won't have to worry about clicking on the wrong link. There is an image there which I believe is from the episode 1 poster though.
I'm sure customizable home pages would be neat, but I don't really see where there's a need. Personally I know I just scan the articles on the fornt page and it's pretty quickly apparent whether any interest me. Does this mean that we'll see more articles that never would have made it before? That would be cool, and would actually make the filtering useful.

I hope my c.s. prof's aren't reading this :)

Their website is at http://www.teralogic-inc.com.
I looked quickly and couldn't find a release date, but it's probably there somewhere.
>Oh, and someone already sued God and won (He >didn't show).
actually the suit was found 'frivolous' and thrown out. Other targets included all federal american judges and a bunch of other people...

sorry, duh you meant 73 possible characters, not 73 characters long... sorry.

The web page says the login is 16 characters and the password is 4. Shouldn't this make brute-forcing it fairly viable?

Well, the movie sucked. I loved it when they were hiding the ship and everyone had to be real quiet so the enemy ships didn't hear them... huh?
But, on the plus side, Saffron Burrows, who plays Angel, was imho incredibly hot.

(pissed cuz I got there too late for the star wars trailer...)
