China will be laughing their socks off at us next time we try to mention the censorship of news and internet in their country - no matter what language our leaders speak the message in.

Yeah, I'm sure China was just about to consider taking the great firewall down and then this happened. I'm completely against the filter but your argument just makes our side look bad.
So? Several people die of cancer every year, does this mean that there are pro-cancer people?
Some people accept a person's control over her body, and the fact that abortion will happen in any case. This does not make them "pro-abortion".
No one chooses to get cancer.
Therefore no one is pro-cancer.
People choose to get an abortion.
This makes them pro-abortion.
This will be bad. I mean really horribly bad.
I mean crawl under the covers and watch the Star Wars Christmas Special bad. You may have thought the Matrix sequels were bad but that's peanuts to this.
Everybody knows that "bears beats battlestar galactica" anyway. They should just skip straight to a show about bears.
Exactly because bears are freinds with sharks.
Who doesn't want to see a show about bears and sharks? I certainly don't but I'm the exception that proves the rule.
There is something that optical mice could do better.
I've noticed that for some optical mice, if you move them very fast, their sampling or something is not fast enough so the mouse makes a blind guess on the direction and magnitude of the move.
This is bad for some games...
The usual "ball" mice seem to better able to keep up.
You need a good gaming mouse to prevent that.
The Razor Diamondback can keep up with super human wrist speeds and it's optical.
I dropped out of colledge when I was offered a full time sys-admin position. Became friends with the webmaster. The rest is history.
Paid well, lots of perks. A degree is only good for getting your first real job. If you can get that far without one go for it.
I guess this would be like the old 'neighborhood swimming pools' we used to have when I grew up...I think it might actually help a neighborhood sell houses these days.
Hmm..do they still even have neighborhood pools anymore? It was great to meet kids around you...have fun during the summers...but, hell, that was so long ago for me, we even had a quality diving board...something I guess most kids of today haven't got a clue about except for maybe seeing one on the olympics.
*sigh* damned lawyers....
South Carolina is still swarming with neighborhood pools. No diving boards of course
but there's still a pool for every subdivision down here.
Cybermen don't have a collective consciousness. They are all individuals... each one with a separate and distinct brain. (At least that's how it was in the Old Doctor Who, therefore Star Trek writers couldn't have copied the idea.)
They where still organic beings who "improved" themselves with cybernetics and then proceeded to "upgrade" others against their will. Still very Borge-esq even with their individual minds.
Working with telcos is a pain. The problem is NEVER on their side.
This!
It's only gotten worse with AT&T taking everything over. So glad I got into development and never have to plead with AT&T to go replace an F2 pair ever again.
The housing market is crap already, adding other overheads won't make things better. And I bet the cable companies/isp's would not like the idea of joe sixpack competing with them.
This has been around forever and was quite possibly more popular back in the dial up days since T1's were the cheapest broadband connections back then. The isp's are getting paid for the fiber or T line so they don't care.
Depends on who you think gets to define what languages exist. By whose authority did you conclude that Chinese != Mandarin? Because my (state-run!) college offered Chinese as a language option. That makes it an official language in my book.
By what authority did you conclude than Chinese automatically equals Mandarin? Is Canatanese some how less Chinese, you insensitive clod!
Don't worry, your fapping is perfectly safe from your homophobic fears :)
Good, I as worried for a moment.
And he died from trying to hold in his piss during a drinking game.
The moose won.
Tycho Brahe had a nose made of silver and gold. And his friend had copper knickers.
And he got a moose drunk.

And that would be the one-hour Godwin. Thread's over; nothing to see here, move along.
I thought someone had to say the word nazi before a thread got Godwined.........oops.

This is a problem in search of a solution.
I believe you meant "solution in search of a problem."
Why would you want a soultion in search of a problem? He had it right the first time.
Does anyone else remember the movie Fight Club? Is that a serious question? It gets quoted constantly What's the first rule of Usenet?
Don't Godwin the thread?
Nobody is pro-abortion.
And yet several are performed every year. Unless someone forced the doctors or the patients somone in this country is pro-abortion.

It's the BSG fan equivalent of Nemesis. It didn't happen, okay? Did. Not. Happen. You mean it's the BSG equivalent of Highlander 2:The Quickening?
A sequel..but....but there can be only one.....must...supress..memories....GAHHHHH!!!!!
It's easily one of the worst sci-fi shows I've ever the displeasure of watching.
Worse than the Star Wars Christmas Special?
I imagine it will be horrendous... but hey its just TV.. maybe a bad TV series night and make a drinking game out of it...
With that can do attitude you too can be a network executive.

This probably should wait until George Lucas is dead, just to be safe.
Good, idea......I'll be right back.
It's fun to become agitated AND I learned an OSX function I never new about ;-)
That's the Mac experince in a nutshell.

I mean come on ....calling it the S34 incident is just begging for a cheasy sci-fi flick to be made about it.
CERN calls it the 'S34 Incident'
Other's call it a major explosion in the cryogenics system
I say the gates of hell have been opened
This Fall
Prepare to Collide with this seasons blockbuster...
S....3....4
This film is not yet raited.

If you were attempting to be humourous it didn't work, sorry.
Your apology lacks sincerity.
