Blow it out your ass. Chicken pox is not a required vaccine. The required ones ARE for diseases that are deadly, like Mumps which used to kill about 140,000 people each and every year.
Explain to me exactly how deportation of someone on a tourist visa for a "death to america" is in any way comparable to execution for a "I won't pray for you"
Ok but what I was really asking was how could 9 of the 10 hottest years on record have been since the year 2000? Its only 2012, there's not enough years after the "brief cooling dip" ended in 2008 to amount to 9 years.
How can the 10 hottest years on record have possibly been since 2000 when there was no warming between 1998 and 2008? Global Warming experts say this 10 year period is too brief to prove anything, they recommend a minimum of 17 years to show a distinct trend.
I smell a troll.
Your description of the Arduino makes it sound identical to a prototyping board for any raw microcontroller. Freescale has been selling one for their 68HC08 micocontroller for years and years and year, with even more PWM inputs and outputs. With the rasberry pi you only get the same functionality of the Arduino or any other microcontroller for that matter if you add in the gert board. The rasberry pi by itself is more like a prototyping board for a set-top box or a smart phone or a smart TV. Microcontrollers serve a very different purpose than a microcomputer.
The top CGI picture of an Amiga with a CD-ROM, at http://www.commodoreusa.net/products.html, I recognize from an Amiga forum from at least 3 years ago. It was made by a forum user, not any employee of Amiga or related company.
Here's an idea! Grab a $3 can of canned air/air duster from Office Depot/Staples/Office Max/Fry's Electronics/Best Buy, open up the side of your computer, and then spray out all the dust that's accumulated in your graphics card fan and heatsink since the first StarCraft came out.
Its worth noting that techies were talking about using blue lasers back in the 90's as a way to fit more information onto a "CD" for computers, way before any of had DVD players in our homes. I remember it was pointed out the blue lasers transferred data slower than the lasers being used in CD-ROM drives of the day.
I think a Blue-Violet replacement for BluRay is longer off than most other slashdot posters seem to believe.
I've been buying Seagate Hard Drives since my first add-on 50MB hard-drive in my 386. Some of the really old ones were actually made in Japan (weird, huh?) and almost all of the new ones, even my 1TB drive were made in Thailand. Never had even 1 fail on me. I ordered a pair of 2TB drives... they came stamped "made in china"... both have already failed and I'm waiting on a replacement.
Are workers in China really that much cheaper than workers in Thailand?!?!?
60 years ago in 1950, the Communists in China were still fighting to expel the Nationalists from China. After they succeeded they began farm collectivization, "The Great Leap Forward", which was so poorly managed that it resulted in the starvation of between 20 and 30 million people between 1959 and 1962. This kind of murder by starvation is referred to as a holodomor. The genocidal holodomor perpetrated by the Soviets against the Ukrainians from 1932 to 1933 killed between 7 and 10 million people. The Holocaust perpetrated by the Nazi's against Hebrews and others killed between 11 and 17 million people.
Just think of the pain and agony that 20 to 30 million people went through as they slowly starved to death. 9 million people are thought to have starved to death in 1960 alone.
There's plenty of evidence that Scientology will go out of their way to prevent you from leaving when you work for them. Including: Locking you in a cage.
Read "Blown for Good"
Scientology was just supposed to be another, run-of-the-mill, suicide cult like Jim Jones in the Jonestown massacre or The Heaven's Gate cult... but Hubbard died from a drug overdose before he got to kill everyone. So, now it just wanders along its merry way with the sole purpose of making as much money as possible for the sole benefit of David Miscavige.
Real home theaters have a 240" OLED. Only people who don't go golfing with the CEO of Sony use plasma. Stop trying to act like you aren't nouveau riche. You just look like a yuppie when you don't have connections. Bet you don't even have HDMI 2 in your home yet.

Well, just buy the $35 version then
100 years ago, we were already under our current patent regime.
dang, 1999? I suddenly feel so old.

Looks like what they should have done years ago instead of that stupid Apple TV.
Whatever happened to that really old legal requirement for patents? You know the one where you actually have to be the inventor to patent it...

The Scientologists are pretty good with the whole "child rape" thing too: http://sexual.taxexemptchildabuse.net/
WRONG! Slavery is involuntary servitude, regardless of whether or not you are paid.

Forget the celebrities. Here's a conversation with a "mainstream" scientologist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyUAVz414_M
Are you sure its the Catholic Church? http://sexual.taxexemptchildabuse.net/

I'm pretty sure the Robot was the most memorable character on the show
