    You have a good point, but i wouldnt call that clearly labeled. it is a barely legible small grey lettering which indicates it. If you hadnt said that, and i weren't looking for the indications, i probably wouldnt have noticed.

    This doesnt come as a surprise to me Its obvious that microsoft does these kinds of things and I am suprised that so many people use msn. Its extremely annoying, however, that a company can do something like this. It is similar to censorship because so many people use msn for information. Microsft is able to take advantage of that to tell people things that might not even be accurate just to help the company.

    I am not suprised by this. It is easier to scratch CD-R's than CD-ROMS. I have corrupted many CD-R's just by scratching the CD on the CD tray itself. In addition, CD-R's are written with ink(as opposed to plastic CDROMS) making it much easier for them to go bad.

    most people dont update even when its forced. they click wait 1 minute every minute and never do. anyway by the time the virus spreads it is too late. I think it is totally fair to blame MS. They wrote bad code that allowed itself to be exploited.

    Now if the computers hadn't been running windows and they would have crashed anyway and wouldnt have been able to execute it. Oh wait they were running windows. I guess windows(and any crashable OS) only crashes during important data writing.

    Your comment doesnt make sense. T1 lines are regulated by the gov(at least the voice part of them is i should say) and cable is regulated. Even so that doesnt have anything to do with deciding if they are regulated. Regulation will make it better for consumers by standardizing equipment and standards.

    Also, this will make it better for customers by regulating the equipment so that devices are not proprietery for each company. This is actually a very good thing to be regulated.

    obviously you do not know how the p2p network works. most certainly this person has connected to the p2p network(how else would the riaa get her username?) and regardless of wether she has blocked downloading/uploading her system will be utilized by the p2p network for searches. Thats really not the point though. I never said that kazzaa was bad. In fact ive never used kazza because i have linux. I just commented that the phrasing of the sentance sounded a little fishy. Why would someone go download a program like kazza just to listen to music? Also, the statement sounded like it was trying to hide something.

    your analogy doesnt make sense. When one uses kazza it increases the bandwidth of the p2p network. When one owns a gun it doesnt cause other peoples guns to kill more people. I do agree however that the RIAA is totally unconstitutional. I also think she wasnt doing anything wrong.

    She mainly uses kazza to listen to music ripped from her CD collection and tries to prevent people from accessing her collection? that sounds a little fishy but it is irrelevent. The point is the unconstitutional methods used by the RIAA

    I agree. Because competence isnt that great for the majority of computer users, it is economical for companies such as dell to hire people with absolutely no type of training, who will just read dichotomus keys to people. Some of the support staff of these major companies like dell cannot speak english correctly.
