    I like my meds. They help me have feelings other than depressed or suicidal, and work far better than the exercise and meditation did by themselves. I'm kinda pissed at Nancy Regan's unintended consequences with the just say no campaign.

    I'm disappointed at how far I had to scroll for the irony/hypocrisy to be pointed out. At least it was mostly cost effectiveness discussions and not omghaxxor posts.

    What I'd like to know is if this information will make writing malware for Macs more tempting? I don't think anybody here believes the old "virus proof" bit for Apple anymore, but it's still generally held that it's been too niche to bother with. Will this be changing if only for the challenge? And yeah, you mention Linux. What if they factor in chrome books and boxes? I'd love to slap those onto some computers for the way they're used. What's the sense in paying for so much more than what's needed?

    ... that thinks "state sponsored" means enough time and resources got thrown at this to make even exemplary security meaningless? They could have simply bribed some sysad that was getting fired/quitting anyway to go in, plug in a USB, and leave. Before slamming their IT staff, remember Kevin Mitnick.

    You're right. I glossed over that. BMI isn't quite the same, but close enough. Calipers would have been better.

    It could have been that they went off the weight only and didn't even use cheap calipers. Fitness trackers also lend themselves certain types of exercise, so they can become limiting too. Too many unaddressed variables.

    You think their internet connections aren't monitored by foreign interests already? Not just the installations, but the home connections? Maybe it's less of a concern for state side bases, but the ones overseas are a different issue. Besides, you're assuming they couldn't use a private version with known and trusted exits.

    The military should be using it too. I imagine a judge's personal computer habits are wonderful places to score data regarding blackmail material, pending judgements for buying and shorting stocks, etc.
