you think the Chinese will get into the drm thing?
it seems like they would given the whole communist thing and that firewall they've put up, but on the other hand it seems like one of those things they'd build a workaround for (think new system style "workaround" not a hardware mod)
i sincerely hope that this new device is applied only to people who need it and aren't adverse to such things..
but anyway, the type of addiction you mention is also bad because it keeps them from really doing anything whether positive or negative. kind of a waste of life really
or a material that's reflective at 95ghz with goggles that filter it of course (can they make those? i've seen them for lasers, but idk if that's possible in this range)
also of interest, it only penetrates 1/64 of an inch or.397mm, so you could wear something that absorbs it, but that might get a little warm (although it says they don't leave the emitter on too long so nobody recieves permanent damage)

you need a lot more than one person unless you're just that good;)
i suppose you could start a web page to recruit people to write this thing if you really feel it is worthwhile and feasible
i installed a gentoo/os9 dual boot on my dad's ibook, and the right click is that extra enter button by the space bar with the middle click being fn+alt. thank goodness the screen is to small (800x600) to use drawing programs that take advantage of all three buttons
i write web apps as a hobby, so i like to have a browser and virtual terminal on the right with my text editor maximised on the left. no switching workspaces to test what i wrote. it's also nice to have the php manual ready in the next tab on the web browser
you used "its" twice, "it's" once, and all three correctly. how did you manage that?
is the grand parent post from a video game where you play against/as China or real life?
sounds more like a game with the mention of underground warp tunnels, but i'm quite tired and just making sure.

"Capitalism isn't about competition though"
is this guy serious?
google
in which case i applaud the grandparent
"And as for Nintendo, they don't appear to be taking much of an interest in media-tising the Revolution."
but it will still be televised.
you're just trying to get them to waste mod points ...
(good technique)
hey, it beats some of the other stuff i read on here, let him be... i kinda like it :)
it's a shame... i rather like their keyboards.
oh. sorry to be a bother then. i like to keep my two e-mail addrs separate as well, and it works very well.
if he was an assistant prof, wouldn't he have a .edu email?

offtopic? oh come on
try to outdo the post above you in trollishness
props to itl (#itl on efnet)
someone should crapflood/troll their irc channel...
i'd be most worried about what it does to your eyes, apparently not much if you don't have contacts/glasses on since they didn't really mention it.

multiple screens help too :)

i'll find a way to rent it
thanks to you and the other people who posted replies (i like the differing opinions; adds some intrigue to sourcing a movie)
