    For as much money as Apple makes, their software engineering teams seem to be a disaster. Single line OSX exploits that give root, iTunes is a mess, etc. What a disaster. Time to replace the CEO and executive team.

    I am similar. I had the G1. Now I am burned out on smartphones and only look at mine when I have to. I think people will eventually burn out on smartphones. They are just "new" to many people. New meaning 1-5 years of regular use.

    I hate to break it to everyone: but computers aren't getting faster in general like they used to. The train is reaching the end of the track. You will see small bumps in performance year-over-year but don't expect the computers next year to be much faster than the ones this year. Digital processor technology is reaching its limits.

    Enough with this myth that we aren't spending enough. NYC spends 20k a year per student, 19k in Boston, 17k in Baltimore, etc. Those are all what you would call "inner city" schools. We are spending enough on schooling. We aren't seeing the results.
