I hate to break it to you guys, but Volvo was bought by the Chinese in 2010. So, um, yeah, good luck with that.

Talla. Slack. HipChat. You need an ironic beard to work at these places.

  4. Could we make things a bit more complicated? Virtualization I understand. I don't understand the need for Docker. It is just another layer that will break. Maybe I am just getting old, but this seems very complicated and prone to breakage with all the layers.

Don't worry I read it. A bunch of people complained about something. Big deal. People complain about everything. Github is in a situation where they can pick and choose what they care about.

I'll bet you do find it odd. Do you think Linus tracks metrics like "bugs found per applied man hour"? Does he do "sprints"? Is he "Agile"? No, he writes codes and reviews code submitted to him. In the beginning he did it all himself (I know! Shocking!). You are everything that is wrong with software development today. Don't forget to send in your TPS report before you clock out.

What a shocking concept! You mean actually, you know, write code? What is your bug finding rate per applied man hour? What? You don't know?

Please mention the place so I never get into a mile of it. How would of Linus have created Linux without people like you? Didn't he understand the technical debt he was creating? He could have been finding bugs at a rate of 1.25 per applied man hour instead of actually creating something useful! Silly man. You process guys are useless.
