I don't get it. What ecosystem separation? The lake is refilled "regularly" and they are interconnected with other streams and lakes aren't they? According to the https://salsa-antarctica.org/s... site it says Lake Vostok is only 40,000 years and Mercer is much lower in water retention time.
You can only auto scale if the APPLICATION is built to handle it. It isn't magic. That isn't new either. Machines need to be maintained: just not by you. That isn't new either.
You are a kook because you don't get worked up about the other parts of the "Bill of Rights". You probably have never even read it. Gun nuts are the worst.
Yes. I do blame the people there for "not doing anything". You live in a DESERT. You should not be living there. New Mexico is a DESERT. Arizona is a DESERT. Much of Texas is a DESERT. What do people think will happen? It is like building on a floodplain and expecting help.
No. Stop living in the desert. The "drought areas" are deserts and have been deserts for thousands of years. Diverting water from one place to another makes it worse.
As a bonus, she won't be underemployed/unemployed all of her life. People who have access to higher education and don't take it (and do something useful with it) are missing out. There are billions on this planet that would leap at the chance.
Obviously you didn't understand the article. What they point out is that the people who don't have college degrees have been forced out of the area due to the high cost of living. The ones that are left are in high demand because they are willing to work for lower wages. The people with college degrees are looking for higher wages and thus are likely to be unemployed. The college degreed people could take those lower wage jobs if they wanted them and be fully employed, but they are looking for something better. If you have the opportunity to go to college you should take it. Most people on the planet don't have that choice.
"The Mother looked on proudly as the Father inserted the chip under his newborns skin. After enabling the connection to the laptop, the programming of the child started. Within 10 minutes, the child was fully programmed and was now a full Estonian citizen. On his 17th birthday he would be eligible for ration level B and military service."
Flying a drone isn't hacking. It is consumerism at its worst.
I have no problem with that. Idiots and their Instagram/Youtube drone videos.
Exactly. You heard it here first. Put it in the landfill with all the 3DTV's.
Plenty of VR headsets and glasses are sitting in drawers, unused. Just another fad.

This is what happens when you let Millennial Hipsters submit "stories". Unintelligible gibberish.
Exactly. When are the gun nuts going to start "protecting us" from the evil gubmint?

This doesn't require a book, everyone knows about corporate speak. Write your thoughts on a blog. You will get a couple of thousand readers.

Another good resource is https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwi...
It even has data on dissolved oxygen and turbidity as well as the usual volume information.

Say whaaaaaat? New technology is so amazing! I wonder how they figured out how to close them?
If only you could close a can somehow, or make them in different sizes.
What is the deal with all the Superhero movies? It is like everyone regressed to being a 12 year old boy.
" I've still not heard of anyone hacking their way to the core bank systems through the client"
This happens all the time. You just don't hear about it.
Baloney. Anytime you put information on a network it can be accessed.
"The common security solution is of course developed and maintained by competent people"
Right.

Truly a glorious accomplishment.
Actually Olympics athletes ARE pure self promotion and ego boosting. I thought you were being sarcastic, but you are just dumb.
You are a linguist but you don't know the word "novelty"?
Yeah, all we need are more "advanced CPUs". I'm going to start working on them.
