We already have monitoring, including wireless pressure and flow sensors and satellite imagery. But this is a new generation of people discovering neural networks so expect to see a lot of "amazing" progress. Next, someone will have software that predicts rainfall based on feeding a neural network.

That is coming in Phase II of the 5 year research.

  3. There is already open source landslide detection software (one written by NASA). If these "researchers" would contribute to already existing solutions we would be much better off.

I can guess what Googles solution will be: if you want to host web content you need to purchase a virtual website on their cloud and then they will issue you a code that people can use to type or scan into Chrome. After all, think of the terrorists and/or the children.

The reason for all that is that you are annoyingly illogical and live in a complete bubble and cannot seem to comprehend any other worldview than your own. If you are constantly getting into fights online or offline you need to examine your own behavior. That is not normal. I don't personally care about people like you, because you are just misinformed and have chosen a "side" like many people, but you might want to broaden your horizons a bit and see things from perspectives other than your own.
