  1. No, it sucks. Period. No DVR, can pause live TV on Fire Stick/TV but can't fast forward or rewind, error 40 almost every time you try to watch in the evening.. junk. I dropped it even with the promo pricing and just kept my PlayStation Vue service running. While Vue currently has less channels in their $35 package, I can stream on up to 5 devices at the same time AND IT WORKS. The fact it has working features that would be considered standard anymore while DTN doesn't is also a plus.

Don't let the shiny price fool you. DTN sucks, they've had enough time now to work the issues out and haven't. It's a beta.. or even alpha stage product that was dumped on folks with this great sounding price, but what in the hell is the point of even paying $35/month when it just doesn't work?

Yes, but Niantic reviews the submissions and either approves or denies them. There's a whole section on G+ Niantic setup for handle Portal Appeals (when Niantic denies your submissions, you can post the photo, location, and why you think it should be a portal. Other players can vote yes or no on it, and with enough votes Niantic will review the submission again).

In the end, Niantic (or whoever they hired.. unpaid interns maybe?) are the ones who either approve or deny the portals that go into the game.

I mean, what are they calling the "market" royalties as the only other thing really left is internet streaming, which they made sure years ago to put in place a crazy high rate.

Was that the plan all along? Get internet radio stations to have to pay some crazy royalty fee and then later bitch that the other options, like satellite, are paying a "below market royalty" compared to internet streaming? I mean, it's not really below market, it's just lower than your extremely high forced/made up market price...

It will for a short while if she's using it, then the phone will start making the charger connected sound over and over. The only way for it to charge her phone is to turn the phone off. The Note II just pulls too much power with the screen, battery etc and seems to overheat the charger. (Not that I'd expect this to happen with an iPhone but thought I'd share)

A lot of companies used a small HD inside to store system info and nav data (even in the after market units) and used the data from the DVD to update the firmware and maps on the hard drive.

Of course there were also those that ran off of the DVD and RAM memory (one such unit is my way old by this point Pioneer AVIC-N3 that's still chugging away). Others like some of the Eclipse and higher end Pioneer units back in the mid 2000's stored the info on a hard drive for faster access and no need to mess with discs. I think even Alpine had a HD based add-on nav unit around the same point, but don't quote me on that I forget. But seeing that both Eclipse (Fujitsu 10) and Pioneer are large OEM supplies.. as well as Alpine but like I said I can't remember if they did offer one or not after market... if there were an increasing amount of hard drive based setups as OEM in the mid 2000's

You're more likely to notice someone holding out a smartphone taking pictures and stuff, where as with glass it was discovered there's code and an apk with facial control features such as winking to take a picture etc. Since someone could much more easily just turn their head and wink to snap a picture vs holding a phone out.. Pretty sure you could do so much more covertly with glass than any phone (restrooms, up skirt, etc)
