Didn't anyone notice the fact that when you are operating the d-pad, you will likely be covering the little-ass speaker? Also, when are we going to get a damn portable with analog control? Also, wonder what sort of screen covering we will be looking at. Finally, that would be so money if they had some sort of licensing where if you bought GT4, you'd get GT4 Mobile for half price or something. Just my 2c.
I think that it is funny that Cingular was the first company to purchase 3G compatible network equipment, and yet they have yet to implement that function nor can they sustain a voice-only network. What is the delay? I guess their logo - the little orange guy with his arms raised - is raising them in a shrug of frustration.:)
Seems like just another way for game developers to cash in on the craze of online games. What ever happened to making a solid single player game that you can feel good about spending 50 bucks on and then NO MORE $$$ after that? It just seems to be a dying art outside of RPGs nowadays.
This does not mean that complex circuits such as ALUs and CPUs will be able to run anywhere near this, due to thermodynamic constraints. There we go again, getting all excited over a number aka why P4 outsells Athlon XP so well.
they will take those AWFUL "Absolutely Fabulous" reruns off Comedy Central, and put the channel back to good old sexist American comedy like "The Man Show."
Here I was waiting for GTA5 (or whatever they call it), when they announce a Simpson's ripoff version of it. Gee, why would I want Ray Liotta in the starring role when I can have the dramatic flair of...Homer Simpson...yeah I think I'll pass on this one.
You raise EXCELLENT points. I think you are totally right about the "lack of soul" present in Xbox and PS2, and I think that is why I prefer to support my GC, over the other 2. I think that the lack of soul you refer to is directly tied to the fact that neither place as much emphasis on 1st party games like Nintendo. The big N balances SW and HW, whereas Sony and MS have made videogaming revolve around the hardware alone. This is why good gaming is hard to find outside of the GC (not a fanboy - I own all 3).
that everyone else here thinks this article is downright asinine. Since when did some penis-fetishist's *opinion* on the state of the console war start to matter? If this works so well, I'm going to write an article on how I think alien invasion is the cause of the East coast power outages, and see if I can get it posted. Sheesh...
Just as no rational human being would spend $600 on the Treo when it first came out, no one will spend $700 on this. If you wait a few months, after the compant realizes "oh crap, we have sold 2 units!" they will slash the price in half. Early adopters always help pay for high development costs. Also, do not expect PDAs to come even CLOSE to replacing laptops or desktops until nanotech fabrication methods are the de facto standard.
Here's a question for you...how the F*&K did you find "dozens" of games worth buying on Xbox? I have all 3 systems and for my Xbox I own a whopping 2 games...
They don't say how battery life will be affected while Bluetooth connectivity is intact. Any ideas anyone?

Everyone make fun of east coasters before the power is back on
