Compared to some of the other stuff I've done and had done to me this is pretty safe. At least it's not removing slivers of metal. And I know folks with this and much more extensive body-mods done and they have no problems. It's done in a very specific location I intend to follow the advice of And the smooth glass might make it easier to move, it also makes/much/ easier to remove later and reduces the chance of damage, or at least damage that will still leave me with a hand afterwards.. And of course, if it causes problems, it'll come out and will be a failed experiment.
I've lost too many keys, tags and forgotten too many passwords for this to not be useful.
I don't know.. I'm getting my implant because it makes it very hard to break and/very/ hard to loose! It also makes the range very short so it's hard to steal an unwanted scan of.. A single $100 implantable NFC tag will last much longer than 10 tags attached to your nails that keep growing...:)
I'm already running that, been fiddling with it.. And with my implantable NFC tag(https://dangerousthings.com/shop/xnt-ntag216-2x12mm-glass-tag/) showing up two days ago.. I'm looking forward to saying good-bye to both keys and unlock screens forever! Or at least until I find something I can't enable..:)
I'm new to Smart Watches and I got it because of a few features.. It's usable in full, bright midday sun, I get 5 days to a week per charge, it's quite waterproof and oh yes.. It happens to make a rather nice watch if my phone is not around! I've already got a 'smart' device with all the bells and whistles in my pocket/bag, I really wouldn't want a 'watch' that can do much more than the pebble, it gives me a remote display so I don't need to take my phone out of my pocket to check simple things like GPS navigation direction and at the end of the day, it's just a watch that I can have fun with different watchfaces on.. And I know people who have continued to use their Pebbles even while they were without their smartphones for weeks at a time, just as a nice watch.
To me, it's turning out to be a handy extension of the phone, but it's not meant to 'take over' any functions..
Considering the current generation of geeks is developing all the software defined radios used by Amateurs and with digital modes becoming a whole new area to play with, there's a lot of younger people involved. The older people have the contacts in government departments to get things done, the younger have the equipment to do a lot of the tracking all automatically. I know this from helping a group deal with some people being abusive on some bands in my area. They now have no radio gear and a few thousand dollar fine that gets remarkably large if they ever do it again..
That being said, if they stay off the used areas and are courteous to other users of the spectrum.. THEN no-one will care enough.. You can get away with a lot, if your discrete and do it somewhere no-one cares.
Try doing this on the HAM bands and you'll have a bunch of Radio Amateurs tracking your location and reporting you in to ACMA/FCC/Whatever the UK has. Encryption is explicitly excluded in the regs. Doing so will actually have people tracking your location and gathering logs on what they find.
Because when I have to go somewhere that parking is tricky, I'm always on two wheels. And there's always somewhere to park it. Plus it's often quicker in busy cities, cheaper, gets you fit(If you don't have an engine) and above all, is fun!
Not even Land Rover call it a 'Hood'.. That's an American thing. It's British (Or at least, traditionally) car, at least keep the name right! (It's called that in the video.)
It has a -1 because I made a stupid mistake in one post a few weeks back and got punished for it. I also scored in the low 20's and mid 10's. I'm glad to see studies that I can point at friends who don't understand why I'm not 'into' music. I'm sick of 'You just haven't found what you like'.
I don't enjoy music.. It sets background and rithym for words but the music it'self does very little for me. I don't buy or listen to it day to day and I feel no worse off if I never encounter it.. And while Disney style movies are fun, they are fun for the words in the songs.. Not the music.. While I was growing up I listened to some music, for example, Weird Al that was good because of the words, but now that's not enough to have me listen to him. And my best friends are all/heavily/ into music of all eras.. And while I can appreciate it on a technical level, the music it'self does very little for me. Oh.. And I also/cannot/ have it playing while I'm trying to do anything as it completely screws up my mental processes.. It's just disruptive..
On a standard Debian/Ununtu Desktop install? After fixing up my window manager, web/email/etc, very little needs to be installed.. Everything else is 'nice to have' tools. And custom scripts/settings.
You could just get a Nexus, fill it's insides with epoxy, install Cyanogenmod, use whole disk encryption and some sort of 'erase data after failed attempt to decrypt'. Or just, youknow, not have anything on your phone worth stealing..
Also never heard of it.. Turns out many of us avoid advertising and stay away from 'entertainment' news and are no less off because of this. Plus not living in the us.
Only Soylent Green is people.. There was also a Soylent Red and.. I don't remember the others.. Soylent Green was just a different and new one!
It gives the marketing of this product some room to grow.. Different 'Soylent's that taste or are different in some ways. I want Soylent Brown.. A tasty coffee/chocolate breakfast version! High in caffeine!
Like this will make any real difference.. People will do, as a whole, what they can to improve their own lives, regardless of some ethereal suffering of others.
It is however good to know because it'll help develop ways of dealing with this problem.
Now that they have been caught on video.. I wonder how long until they'll capture one fully.. And how long until you'll be able to buy knock off ones on eBay..
Move the Control(Ctrl) key back to it's rightfull place where CapsLock is on most keyboards.. And make the 'Windows' key into a Meta key and I'll be happy with the basic layout.
I must admit I skimmed very quickly indeed and seem to have missed several things. The 'Chrome Apps' thing has just been causing me problems trying to use Google products on no-blessed platforms and I reacted without thinking. Sorry.
So Google.. the company that made such a huge thing out of HTML5 and how they hated flash and wanted to do away with plugins.. Have now made their own plugins? That only works in their own browser.. But don't worry! They own it, and they say it's the best, so it's apparently quite all right... "The more things change, the more they stay the same." I think is the line.
A lot.
How on earth is he getting that kind of range! The 'usable range' on these chips is a few mm.. I know, I have one and use it every day!

If your not careful and change your passwords, it could cost you personally everything you have!
And I think the corporate number is rather low. But the exact figure is going to be rather nebulous and hard to define as these things always are.

I shall dub this network "The world barely keeping up with demand."
Still. Good to see stuff ready for when it's needed.

Just because the words where wrong doesn’t mean the reactions weren't.
