    Then where draw the line? Does "news" now include anything that might be of any interest to anyone? It was not representative of real life. It did not affect anyone else outside of the man's family. It did not warrant being on TV, as it helped inform absolutely no-one about anything of any actual importance to them.

    Yeah, you're right. The cars just have webcams to see the road paintings, and assume there is nothing but flat gravel traps either side of all roads for at least 200'. The car in your first scenario would do what any normal human driver would be instructed to - slow the fuck down and try not to crash into anything. It would use its better senses to first detect the asshole car start to affect its safety, then do what it can to get out of the way, all with 360-degree vision (using a laser range-finder and other equipment), so it probably knows better than you how deep the ravine is and why it's such a bad idea to go driving in it. The people who make these things aren't idiots. They're actually more clever than you seem to give them credit for.

    What the fuck sort of shit story is this? Yes, QR codes are easily copied, but not at the nano scale. And why the fuck would a bank, or anyone, connect its QR scanners to the internet? It just has to be sensitive enough to read and verify the QR code and that's it. This is pure nonsense.

    With Android, you can do either. Either let Android handle the scaling for you (which works perfectly adequately for the vast majority of apps), or the developer can handle it themselves (which is fine for the remaining apps).
