Ubuntu's desktop insanity was fucking disgusting when I last tried it. OpenOffice can't even split a document. And Eclipse can suck my balls. It's straight-up terrible.
And if you look at the subject of your very own message, you can see it says "Microsoft and open source", not "Microsoft's desktop and server operating systems and open source".
Not agreeing with something doesn't automatically make it FUD...
Yes, Bluetooth and Wifi are supported. I have a widget on my phone which lets me enable/disable the ADB-over-wireless with a touch. Developing and debugging using it is actually very enjoyable.
Nonsense. Just look at the statistics - healthcare in the rest of the world is just as good, and even adjusted, costs far, far less. That's an accurate metric.
Everyone does use healthcare, even if they've never been in a hospital before. Every single person they interact with on a daily basis is there probably due to it, and without healthcare the number of people not working would be much, much higher. Just like schools, it's a common myth that people who have never been in them don't benefit from their existence and tax-based funding.
Suicide is not a coward's way out. Yes, it passes the buck, but what needs to happen in someone's head which allows them to go against every instinct every living thing has had for billions of years - survival - has to be pretty god-damned tough to go through.
There is no such thing as radioactive waste - if it's radioactive, it can be used as fuel. We just need decent reactors which aren't crippled by ignorant public opinion or fear mongering.
It's a lot more complicated than just how much you weigh - your blood, stomach contents, organs, etc. will all weigh 2.4x their terrestrial equivalents, causing all kinds of weird stuff to happen to bodies. The 192kg person you mention doesn't have heavier blood:)
So Google's problem is they don't police people bundling their bar with them? Which is a rather strange point to make, as I've never seen a Google bar being bundled without a specific page dedicated in the installation process entirely to Google's bar.
But then it's you, so I'm not surprised you're just pulling stuff out your arse to make a point. Badly.
So Amazon should shut down, as no one can be expected to keep their credit card details secure on the net. Of course there should be regulation to protect people. Large websites, such as Amazon, Google, Facebook, et al. all can easily be assessed for compliance, and once compliant, a large part of the internet has been made compliant. How a user is supposed to actually *use* the internet without providing any data to it is going to severely limit the uses of the internet. We'll end up with LOLcats all over the place, and nothing of any actual use.
Equating the TSA to the "papers, please" mentality of the Nazis and the USSR is doing a great disservice to all three. I'm all for hyperbole, indeed it's the absolute best, but your comparison is incredibly cheap.
Seeing as what the EU said is the truth, it's hard to blame them. Making an advertising claim which is wrong *and* not specific to your product is clearly nonsense. Why you seem to think that people should be able to sell cans of soup which claim to cure people of AIDS is beyond me.
With a sane nuclear power program, there is no waste.
I guess most people know that "state" means country, and so didn't get their panties in a bunch.

And the death penalty. USA! USA! USA!

No it won't. Making stuff up isn't going to help this discussion.

Don't judge until you try it yourself.

The rapid updates which happen in the background, don't change the UI, and don't break anything. Precisely unlike Firefox.

No, as CarrierIQ is not installed, and can't be installed OTA by the network.
Why? Should we ban cars, too, as they can be misused?
Your logic is all over the place. It's almost as if you have a problem with him for some other reason...
Because that's what he wants, and that's all that matters.
I see you are also woefully ignorant of the EU and its workings.
It's only ironic if you don't know what socialism is...

You don't have a clue about the EC if you claim that. Stop reading the Daily Mail and start reading actual newspapers.
Like providing a downloadable version of their entire database? The bastards!

So cite the book *and* its issue, just as is done now. What's the big issue?
