  1. Re:Resell on Wii Launches, Sells Out Peacefully · · Score: 4, Interesting

I'm not having any issues with Red Steel. It took about 5 minutes to get the hang of the controls, but after that I think they rock. My 15 year old son has done nothing but bitch about control issues though. I think the issue, for him, is that he wants to use very gross movements to aim the gun and this takes the pipper out into the movement control zone rather than keeping it in the fire zone. When I play I bet the end of the Wiimote doesen't move much over an inch in any direction except when zooming in.

Hm, let's see. You then go on to say "there is no balance and that is damning evidence on its own", once again implying that somehow two groups of liars will somehow spout truth when they spout together. Still incorrect. You continue to imply that lie + lie = truth. Try reading your own posts. You make a statement (I assume it was meant to be facetious), then a platitude, and then continue in the same vein as the original statement rather than use it as a foil to make a point. This does not imply humor, if that was your intent, but condescension. If this was an attempt at juxtapositional comedy please rent some tapes of professionals that do the technique well and practice at home before taking the act out on the road. Mmmkay?

p.s. I never stopped reading your post, I finished the whole thing.

If the U.S. Congress wants me to feel they are earning their pay they need to repeal about 80% of the laws passed in the last 140 years and then sit qietly with their thumbs up their butts leaving me and everyone else alone until the next election. Since that is highly unlikely I doubt anything congress does would make me feel they were earning their pay.

Anyone can write a bill. Only a Congressman or Senator can sponsor it for submition. If it makes it through committe they vote on it, and if it passes it goes to the other house. If it passes there it goes to the President who either signs it or vetos it. If it is vetoed then the houses of congress have a chance to override the President and pass the bill into law, but it requires a 66% majority, not a simple majority.
