  1. Makes no sense on Internet Radio Will Go Silent on June 26th · · Score: 1

What exactly would this accomplish? Whether I listen to an FM station or an Internet station... as a consumer I've paid nothing

Silencing the internet stations will accomplish nothing more than giving up what they are fighting for. So I can't listen to my favorite internet stations...oh well... I'll actually take 2 seconds out of my life to tune into a conventional radio station. And they'll get exactly what they want.

Don't get me wrong... I support internet radio, however this type of action is well... counter productive.

Almost as if they didn't want you to see the full effects. Every scene where the transformations take place literally span 1 second, and the trailer's music/sound masked a lot too.

I won't pass judgement until the movie is released. But from what I see, it appears they still want to only throw teasers out to the public.

I must admit, I've enjoyed watching the show from time to time... however all too often they make a big production out of something that could have been disproven from simple logic. Take for example a recent episode where they were testing the myth that if you licked a stamp and stuck it to a helicopter's rotor-blade, would it unbalance the blades and render the helicopter uncontrollable? Granted it was a simple test to complete (cost the whole whopping cash for a stamp and fuel to start up a helicopter). When in simple logic, one could simply point out the large amount of Bug debris picked up by the rotor blades. I'm not seein a whole lotta heli's goin down in Florida after a massive mosquito massacre.

Actually, I take this the opposite way. I find that usually people who bag on DW so vehemently are merely people who purchased a couple books on HTML, CSS and PHP then try to pass themselves off as professional web designers. And try to parade their percieved professionalism by loudly implying that Real Web Designers are those who use VI as a text editor and anybody else are mere mortals.

The whole premise of this topic is to prevent kids from sneaking out and doing something when their parent isn't looking. Hence the need to ask for a child's ID.

Parents can do everything possible to teach their moral values to children, and to practice what is right, what is wrong, and what is responsible. Unfortunately no matter how well a parent fulfills that duty, children still act like children and do what's naughty or taboo. Let's face it, that's what children do.

It shifts no burden of responsibility of the parent. Instead it reinforces the responsibility of the entertainment industry. And like it or not, the retailer is a part of that industry and should have their methods of sales to minors held accountable.

Nobody has the right to question my parenting skills or authority by dangling a tempting morsel in front of my children. And then blaming me if my child gives in to temptation.

Then aligns the compass systems compensating for Index Error (the deviation of the aircraft from north, it's nigh impossible to park the aircraft perfectly over the surveyed line). Next the aircraft electronic systems are powered on, and 2 Cycle Error needs to be accounted for. The inductance of electronic equipment and transmissions which can make a rather noticeable difference in compass alignment. Sure, one cell phone probably won't make a noticeable shift.
