I don't think you can really be 'fragmented' in regards to licenses.. you can fork a program enough to kill it, but if 10 different programs have 10 different code licenses, they can all be just fine.

True software freedom includes the freedom to write your own license of choosing.

How about people stop replying going "This is a Twitter sockpuppet!" because

    a) Nobody fucking cares

    b) if all of these names are supposedly sockpuppets, replying and pointing it out FEEDS THE TROLL.

Of course, expecting this to happen is futile, so all I've done is write a special greasemonkey script. Anyone that replies and points out supposed Twitter sockpuppets have their posts disappear from my view permanently, because not even adding foes is enough to block the idiocy.

No, because the reason those are low-pedestrian is because there's better sidewalks for getting places, and they're also 4-block long downhill rides through industrial areas, ie where nobody is going to be walking, and there are no driveways.

There are only two places I know of where I can hit that speed. Otherwise I maintain around 10mph on open sidewalk and drop down to near walk speed if I even see a pedestrian. If it's narrow, I stop my bike and let them pass.

Riding on the street here is suicide. No bike lanes, the bike trails go nowhere near where I need to go (they just go from park to park to park, and none connect to parks near i need to go to), lots of semi traffic in the city (I-80 passes through Omaha), and as I said before, even the cops will tell you to get off the street.

It's technically illegal in Omaha, but no sane person rides in the street, as people will aim for you.

Hell, the cops will tell you to get on the sidewalk. The bicycle cops? Ride on the sidewalk.

Any spot where I can travel at a dangerous enough speed (20mph) also has low pedestrian traffic. Any any smart bike rider will maintain lower speed around pedestrians. I've actually never seen nor heard of a bicycle/ped crash.

The most notable new feature of SP3 is that it allows more CD keys to be entered into it, since they are extremely close or have run out of new ones to print that XP, XP SP1 and XP SP2 will recognize.

The SP3 via automatic updates seems to mean to me that they are waiting that long to have a special SP3 download (like the massive 300MB or so SP2 offline installer)

They had visions of sugarblums and dollarsigns dancing in their head, and then found out the hard way how many people actually don't have the money to pay that off.

Now they're all paranoid about lending so much money out after getting bit. Hell, my mom tried to apply for a payment plan from HP so she could get a laptop - the only thing on her credit report is a paid off credit card that she's had since 2003 and was never late on, and her mortgage, which she also has made sure never had a late payment. And they denied her. The credit report was exactly the same in 2003 when she was approved for her current Dell desktop (and paid off the entire thing within two months).
