I'm sure for a lot of movies these days, more fun will be had flinging them out of the window "throwing star" style than actually watching them. Hey no, seriously kids, dispose of your hoaxes responsibly please...
As soon as Joe Public realises what this actually means, they'll dump it in a "flash" and not buy from SanDisk again. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice...
Thanks for the replies guys, but I think you missed my point. This is for when there is a PLAIN TEXT URL highlighted; of course this functionality is there for HYPERLINKS; and I can just click on it anyway. However, if there is a web address in a page which is NOT linked, then you have to highlight, copy (well in Windows at least), then paste into a new tab/window. In my browsing Utopia, all you would do is highlight then right click.
I don't know why people claim the installation is so hard. I guess the disk partition thing might be intimidating, but then again, I have FDisk'd so many times because Windows/DOS had issues back in the day, I find the two-tone ncurses thing to be a positive boon!
It always amazes me that someone will attempt to install an operating system without understanding the most basic aspects of disk partitioning.
Great to see Slack going strong after all the craziness a few months back. It looks like Slack is no longer a one man band, hopefully this most have much of an affect on the ethos (which I don't think it will).
When I was first looking around for distros to choose, most of them had a few paragraph's worth of description. Slackware's said;
"Not so much an operating system as a hobby"
I think it was meant to intimidate people; I took it that Slackware was fun and easy! I wasn't dissapointed:-) What can you expect from a distibution maintained by a Dead Head!
Its Shigeru Miyamoto, not Mario, that is the real magic here. Mario 64 was so good it still makes me want to weep. This was the first 3D environment I was totally immersed in. It wasnt a little italian plumber running around in there; it was me.
What I want to know is who is working on voice support for google talk in Gaim? Surely thats got to be the priority here. Are google/gaim doing anything or are they relying on some bored scandinavian teenager?
Not to mention the free advertising they get when someone uses the most common word to describe a web server unable to cope with the large spike in demand.
My gf's phone line is awful; we can talk much more easily on google talk than on the phone, and both of us have our phone right next to our PCs anyway. Also, it allows me to talk to her daughter easily who is five, so although she can type she can't have a conversation with me. For anyone who is blind its got to be a help.
I have to agree. The dual screen rarely brings anything to the device that a larger screen or better use of existing screen real-estate doesn't. I hate the second screen in that respect, because it constantly diverts my attention from where it should be: the gameplay. There are a couple interesting uses for it, but I have yet to see any use of the second screen that justifies it.
I am only buying a DS because of. I can finally chuck my zaurus and have a Linux based PDA/real gaming portable. Once those magic dudes at DSLinux.org have done their magic.
If an infinite amount of monkeys submitted an infinite amount of FUD about Linux/Google to Slashdot, would anyone actually believe they are the same as MS? Come on this is getting ridiculous now.
Hey Steve you are alive then. I emailed you a few months back ago about your Speedtouch modem drivers (you did ask specifically in the program for people to get in touch if it didn't work), which I can't get to work in Slackare 10. Maybe the email came "loose" from the server... are you still working on this driver then?
The US Dept. of Defence (sic) thinks floppies are OK? Is it only me that finds this slightly worrying? I would of thought some post it notes would be more reliable...

Is there any evidence that intelligent, well-informed businesspeople
...shouldn't that be "evidence of"???
We'll all be dead in the future. The human race will be a mere blip in the history of the universe.
No, only an absolute moron would comment without reading TFS;
The installation of SAP took two days on Windows, the installation on Linux Red Hat took two weeks.
Its the installation of SAP on Linux he's talking about, not the installtion of Linux.
Teflon. An invention which has unquestionably improved life for TV Chefs everywhere...

Why would a movie studio use BitTorrent instead of just allowing someone to download from their site
Erm, do you have a clue how stupid that question is? Do you know anything about BitTorrent?
Ah ha! I was hoping someone would know of an extension. Thanks for posting dude I will check that one out.

Right click context menu;
Open Selected Text in New Tab
Open Selected Text in New Window
So when I highlight a link I can open it easily.

and then it now appears cheaper to buy a new box than get the damned thing fixed properly... ...or install Linux on it.

Yah boo sucks to Propellerheads; when someone tried to make a Linux version of rebirth, out came the lawyers.

Shame, shame ScuttleMonkey, we know your name...
Oh wait, they just tax Americans and the French...
