    Unless your programming is for some very specialized fields it is most likely that the need for very advanced mathematics are few are far enough between, that by the time you need it you will likely need to look it up and refresh your memory anyhow. So long as you are able to learn/re-learn it, you are nearly just as well off learning it as you need it.

    I love my Kindle Fire, I can make notes, mark pages, read in the dark, buy a new book when I'm done, read the classics for free etc. I will always choose E-book over paper. Lets face it (In the free world) attempts at censorship or governments tracking your reading habits are not a real concern. Will it ever happen, sure in Iran or China, but the free world would strip power from anyone stupid enough to try that.

    You've already done the work, go ahead and give it to them, put it into production and prove your worth. Explain this is given to them as a demonstration of your higher level skills, that you plan on making your long term career. If there are other projects like this one they would benefit from, put together a proposal of your new job description, and a mention that you would expect a wage appropriate to that description. If they don't bite, simply mark it down as an achievement on your resume, and get a real job.

    Your dedication and loyalty becomes worthless the minute new management comes along, or the company is sold. If you really feel loyalty to your co-workers keep them in mind if jobs that suit them open up at your new employer. Also, don't bother with offering your current employer the opportunity to match, it almost always results in surprisingly tiny increases afterwards, where a new employer is likely to consider your salary a starting point, your current employer probably sees you at the top of your pay scale. Either way, good luck and congrats :-)

    Sounds like a plain old Solar Cell, rather than deliver it's power via wire to a water electrolysis unit, the electrolysis occurs at the location of the cell??
    So.....

    The solar cel now needs to be in water and then you have to capture the hydrogen, while trying not to cover up or submerge the cel?

    Agreed, but I have argued with other professionals until I was blue in the face and they still do silly crap like smashing and soaking hard drives, rather than just BootAndNuke. I think it really is voodoo to some.

    Since, the 'Pay' is only about half of a federal employees cost. So it's a wash, now bring in the fact that they likely only need the contractor for a limited time, and now its a good deal.

    I doubt they would knowingly censor emails (other than if it had the earmarks of spam). Why bother I'm sure the percentage of those protesters that use Yahoo as their email is quite small. So blocking them would have little to no effect.
