I believe you mean flash ROM. Ram is always writeable. Normal ROM is not, as it stands for Read Only Memory, but Flash ROM can be written on a certain number of times and doesn't require electricity to hold data like RAM does.
How can you criticize the stability when you used M14. I think 16 is the current one now (I don't use Mozilla), so if you're going to bash Mozilla at least try the latest version so you can do it fairly.
How can this analyst be worried about his IT staffer editing the source code on linux servers? If he is an admin he probably has access to all the computer stuff anyway, what more harm can he do. And if a company can't trust the people who work for it, who can it trust? It is true that being free doesn't save a relatively large amount of money since software price is only 3 percent of cost of ownership according to them, but for a small buisiness, spending thousands of extra dollars is a lot to ask for. Not every company has millions in IPO money.
Nope the age is 35 for president, I am looking at the Constitution right now in my AP US History book (yes I'm another minor with no voting rights who still pays taxes).
You obviously didn't read the comment. This guy doesn't want to block people you don't really want to talk to, just make it look like you're away to them, but not your good friends. By the way I believe this guy is one of the original gaim authors but doesn't maintain it anymore, so he knows what is in gaim and what is not.
I don't believe this, but can't check it since I don't have linux installed at the moment. How would a server know if you're spoofing? Messaging is directly client to client. I know you can't spoof through the server, but that is just common sense. Also, the official icq client can ignore people who aren't on your contact list.
This wouldn't work. A lot of money the music industry makes comes from minors. Minors can't sign anything legally binding so theres a big hole in your idea.
I don't see how volunteers could possibly finish something this big. It's true a lot of the stuff is done with other projects, but it's still big. Look how many people Microsoft has working on Windows, isn't it in the 1000s? Microsoft uses a lot of old code too. I am convinced the project isn't worthwhile, people's efforts should be sent porting stuff to open source OSes, not trying to clone a crappy OS.
This has been happening for years already if you have call waiting and don't disable it (there is a prefix to disable call waiting you add to your isps phone number, I don't remember it). Call waiting has been disconnecting ignorant AOLers for years.
I'm sorry but this is a hoax. There is no UIN #1, they start at like 1000 or 10000 or something. That message was sent by someone using a program like licq to spoof the source of the message. I've done things like this to friends, saying their accounts would be cancelled. If this were real it would be sent as a system message, not as a message from UIN #1, since then it wouldn't even get to everyone because someone people have ICQ set to block everyone not on their contact list. Once again, this is a hoax.
They all have the password backdoor of taking the battery out so that the info including the password is erased in the BIOS.
A Robin will run QNX.

Americans like owning...cadillacs? The only people who own Cadillacs these days are old people.

It's actually "sticking to your GNU/Guns".

Heh, the official icq client now uses the aim way of messaging as it's default, as of 2000a I believe. Get it at icq.com.
Nope, theres a comment like that in every article ;).
The internet 10 years ago...wait! Al Gore wasn't Vice President then! How could the internet be around?!?!

Actually slink is a little over a year old, not two years old, it was released in March of 99.
Airlines out of buisiness? If I want to go from New York to Chicago how would I do it on a submarine? ;)
Levels! I am going to build LEVELS in my apartment Jerry. Everything will be on a different level.
"Potatoe" was Dan Quale not Al Gore.
The water doesn't follow the principle or whatever that storms follow about rotating. It goes down the hole whichever way the water jets point.
NASA has no experiance with space stations? Try Skylab, know your facts.
Don't you mean savior?
