    I don't know if this quote reflects the reality but the only *BSD I ever used is OpenBSD for my firewall/gateway. It runs fine for some months now and I can't see any reason why I should change to Linux or another *BSD (I love pf).

    All versions of OpenSSH's sshd prior to 3.7 contain a buffer management error. It is unclear whether or not this bug is exploitable.
    No exploit was publicly availiable before it has been fixed (AFAIK).

    Linux is i386 only. It is not portable to other platforms, like MIPS, Alpha, PPC, etc. Windows NT is a modern, portable 32 bit operating system.

    Actually that one is from Linus himself.

    Screeners sux, the resulting movie usually looks (and sounds !) really bad. I prefear waiting some weeks/months for the DVD rip to be availiable.

    On the other side, gamers tend not to switch because of the lack of support for Windows games with Linux (and other Free operating systems). But things are changing.
