Were any of your files fake? It is possible that one of the programs you downloaded was in fact a movie with the wrong file name. If I were to download something with emule, (Cool stuff like Linux distros of course.) I would check the file names other people have for the file after queuing the file for download. This helps avoid fakes most of the time.
Isn't the fact that documents don't work on anything else but MS office enough reason NOT to use MS office? It's not open office's fault that the doc format is undocumented. I wont use MS office until other programs are able to open it's files without screwing them up, not the other way around. Seems more rational to me.
I don't a switch to biofuel or other carbon based fuels will help; carbon dioxide is release just a much (if not more; less pollutants) which is the primary green house gas.
True, burning biofuel does release C02 but the process of growing the plants to make the biofuel absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere. The net CO2 release is zero. This is different from burning fossil fuels which releases carbon that has been locked out of the atmosphere for millions of years.
Use Bit Torrent next time and you don't have to worry about corrupted downloads. BT checks the crc of the file chunks as they donwnload. AFAIK all distros have torrents of their isos.
Wrap the casket in copper, replace the headstone with a magnet, and expose corpse to this article. As Tesla turns in grave, free power.
The whole casket can't spin silly! It's buried in the dirt. You need to attach the magnets to Tesla himself. It would probably be more efficient to remove him from his grave altogether and install him in a power plant. I wonder if thats how the Matrix begins?
Well NOW it is. Originally LAME started out as a patch on an ISO MP3 encoder implementation. Since it was just a patch, it was unable to encode mp3's on it's own. Hence the name.
This has long since changed though since none of the original ISO code remains in current LAME versions. The name just stuck.
I was not saying that manual focus was not necessary, just giving some extra advice. To me, the more manual things available on the camera the better.:)
In case you don't know, a good way to shoot though a fence is to have the aperture wide open, and get as close as possible to to an opening in the fence. The fence blurs away nicely, almost to the point where you can't see it in the picture.:)
I don't trust anything with 'trust' in the name/brand.
SLI can only be enabled while using a single monitor.
No. You need to get out less.
(Unless you have a DDR machine at home.)
How is this any different from using a hosted server as an offsite backup? I can't see how this can possibly be a copyright issue...

The PS3's ENERGY is proportional to it's mass. Where do you get this infinite power from? Thats unpossible!

Can you really call it reverse engineering if you got the schematics?
Well you can sort of do this with greasemonkey.
So we have phoney phishing phreaks now?
Stop all the downloadin!

I don't think I know many 'nerds' that use the F scale anymore...
I was thinking about this too. DoS attack in real life. :) It should not be too hard to find out how the tow companies are compensated.
Looks like he already is:

Why not make those black bars grey? That should solve the uneven burn-in problem for CRTs and plasma. On LCoS, DLP, and LCD it's not an issue.
I remember seeing something like this posted before.
Your parent post already linked to it.
I think we all learned by now not to click on those links. ;P
