    i played through the snake line to then end battling another great snake to it's death, then i evolved into the yellow background and was a ring monster, stopped playing because ring monsters are annoying to play, though nearly unkillable the ring monster is slower and less agile than the snake, and useless against snakes which you always end up feeding a moment before your change to kill it as a result of having your vulnerable bits posiitoned around your mouth

    the whole idea is dum, you are trying to make a compromised host somehow "Safe" by obscuring what is going on. if they wanted to be really safe they would use a trusted device and allow the computer to simply be one more untrust part of the cloud between that device and the bank. a USB "smart card" could do the trick just fine. for added security have a pin pad on the smart card itself.

    great consumer products? like my father's 38" Bravia LCD TV less than 6 months old with the sound crapping out on the built in speakers? or the Playstation 2 that sony denied had any widespread problems untill a lawsuit forced them to take responsability? or the playstations which had heat and motor problems that didn't officially exist? or were you talking about SOE, the worst of the worst blaming server side problems on home routers when every other game has no problem. or claiming that monsters walking through or into walls is "working as intended"


    everything Sony touches turns into a major crapfest shortly thereafter.

    that is only true if you assume that incorrect belief in christianity would for some reason or another preclede entry into the "real" heaven

    the firewalling should be done on the user's cable modem, which can be unlocked for user configuration by a call to the ISP. for extra security a button could be included that started the modem's web interface for X minutes to make it impossible for worm code to reconfigure the firewall

    a system level process in windows, or any process that uses SMC and encryption to hide itself can be just as invisible. the best way to spot cheating is to find the effects of reckless cheating, look for people who are playing just a little too perfect, such as fishing for 72 hours straight or being withing milliseconds of perfect timing all the time in combat. this then escalates the conflict untill bots have to be made less efficient than a human player and still risky.

    the solution to that problem is making conspiracy to hide or destroy the tapes an automatic life sentence. also have well protected logs kept to record actual mantenance issues.

    if they really wanted to make money shorting stocks, the right way to do it would be to release some script kiddie tools that would allow any jackass to bring down or otherwise compromise oracle based services.

    a scramble to fix bugs is costly, every major customer getting wtfpwned in a single month is MUCH more costly.

    not in code, Nintendo has stated it is a hardware issue with certain units that is uncovered by the update process

    Resisting arrest is a term used in the United States (and possibly elsewhere) to describe a criminal charge against an individual who has committed at least any one of the following acts:
    * Eluding a police officer who is attempting to arrest the individual * Using or threatening to use force against an officer during an arrest * Providing an officer with false identification (either verbally or by presentation of a false official document, i.e. a fake ID)

    i got a set of security bits off overstock that has everything but the 5 lobed TORX-Plus which i can even get a set of those but i don't want to spend $100 just to cause trouble when the 6 lobed TORX security bits are far more common
