    Aapps are trivial to make for BB10 you can install android apps directly and a few modifications to the menu and it will fit in instead of feeling ported, native is "better" but integration with android runtime apps is quite seamless. Considering that the suits at blackberry seem chronically incapable of demonstrating competence despite the best efforts of engineering, I hope that they get bought whole by microsoft or samsung and not picket apart by scavengers when the time comes.

    this is alternate service authorized by the judge because she did not keep her address on file with the court for her child support case.

    typically alternate service is a posting in the legal notices section of the local newspaper so it's not like they are making it harder for her to get notification.

    BIS (consumer) was always inherently dependant on trusting RIM as they ran the server, BES (corporate) only your IT department can provide the keys because only they have the keys, not RIM not anyone else.

    they have not integrated bukkit/craftbukkit into their products. his DMCA takedown is based on the GPL violation that has existed all along because craftbukkit could never have been legally GPL because it is built off essentially pirated decompiled mojang minecraft server code.

    mojang has always looked the other way with server mod software working this way even before they bought rights to the bukkit name and hired some of the top devs (not including wolverness hence his butthurt)

    craftbukkit (the server software) has always depended on illegally decompiled minecraft server code in order to function as a mod API for the minecraft server. so technically this makes craftbukkit not in compliance with it's own GPL licensing because it uses propritary code which cannot be released under the GPL

    one of the top contributors, who knew all along that he was working on a project that was legally grey area, got butthurt and DMCA'd his own contributions.

    statute of limitations starts running when the default occurs (some number of days after the nominal due date, often 30)

  12. this is how disputes over large projects between large organizations are almost always handled, nobody takes their ball and goes home just because something is disputed unless one or both organizations have a serious cult of personality issue.

    it won't take long between commercial introduction of SDCs and the first outright ban on human operation of a motor vehicle.

    once that happens the massive difference in injuries, deaths and property loss will lead to bans on human driving to be passed in virtually all jurisdictions.

    MREs are not survival rations they are combat rations. a few cases of refried beans and corn will be much cheaper and store far more days of fuel in a smaller space for a longer amount of time. and you can rotate your supply as you use them so they don't just sit there until they expire
