    socialized medicine kills innovation and eliminates the incentive to become more efficient at providing care... which leads to huge waiting lists and canadians crossing to the US to pay out of pocket for medical care

    I don't think a PIC could get a good sampling rate for audio but if you set up a dozen or so and carefully offset the timing loops they could work together each grabbing every Nth byte offset by 1 each

    are you on crack? Europe can pay for Universal Healthcare for two reasons

    1) Socialist levels of taxation
    2) Not having a giant military to support


    Europe spends their money healing citizens and the US spends money blowing shit up. Personally i would rather have free market healthcare and spend government money blowing shit up but i'm anti-social like that

    i see no reason a person in a wheelchair couldn't paintball against other wheelchari bound paintballers, it would be interesting to watch and tactics would be radically different from able-bodied paintball, which depends greatly on speed and dodging, would probably see "shelling" at maximum range firing at 45 degrees to rain down on opponents before they can get their shots to land on the shooter, also more creative use of cover fire and terrain.

    I can transfer files even though i am behind a NAT firewall. it is not the job of applicaiton designers to hack around NAT's just RTFM and set up your firewall to foreward to your machine.

    under windows XP GAIM stores it's files in D&S/User/application data/.gaim

    any "keep out" is just as easily placed on the pricate directory is is stored in. NTFS permissions will not allow others on the system to read the files without administrator access and NTFS encryption will prevent anyone lacking your login credentials from accessing the data files.

    you can do one better yourself under windows XP use NTFS encryption on the accounts XML file.
