    By putting those developers to work you create something of value which would not have exist before.. The problem with government is that they are usually terrible at predicting the markets which makes them inefficient compared to a free market.

    Xcode is great, I don't know what you're talking about... I actually like Objective-C.
    When it comes to writing games I'll still do the majority of my programming in C++.

    For anything UI related however, Objective-C + Cocoa + Xcode is amazingly useful.

    What? I'm sorry but you're argument makes no sense...

    Without GM foods the world would be starving right now.

    We should probably ban computers too, yah know to prevent a robot revolution from occurring.

    While we're at it, let's stop working on nano tech, it could potentially result in a grey goo scenario.

    Hell, why are we letting people work on medical technology? It's only going to result in overpopulation and exacerbate the situation between the Haves and the Have-Nots.

    It would be nice if they all standardized on a magsafe interface. Although I doubt it would happen, too expensive.

    Regardless, this is great news. It would be very nice to have just 1 power brick for multiple devices.

    Heck, Intel's Pine Trail isn't PC-compatible, but it's an x86-based platform. Which is why Linux runs, but not Windows (desktop - you can probably get Windows CE running on it).

    Tell that to everyone running Windows 7 on their netbooks.

    You probably meant Moorestown which doesn't have a PCI bus. The next version, Oaktrail will be able to run regular Windows however.
