well maybe our tax dollars will finally buy a system that works for a change. there's no more PROMIS's out there to steal, so gotta pay for new development I guess.
if the average PC buyer could be bothered to know half as much about the computer they're buying as they do about a car they'd like to buy, they'd know that integrated graphics from intel is worthless for gaming. People are getting ripped off frankly. I've built a $850 PC with a later days single core AMD 64 CPU and a nvidia 7900 gs that can handle most of the latest games just fine at 1600*1200. The problem is people thinking they have to have $2000 machines to game on. you just don't.
believe me , nothing your business is doing is so god-damned special that it takes a "superstar" to accomplish. Just find some people with some programing background and give them the opportunity to learn and grow. Anyway, the person asking of this question, if _they_ were a "superstar" HR person/manager, would already know the answer. Since the company can get by with plain old average HR/management I think it can live with average normal programmers as well.
Something good to know... he's not talking about legalizing stoning or hand chopping, etc. and lookie here... seems some other religions already have their own operation system for handling civil court matters.
===
While religious leaders in the UK's Jewish and Muslim communities have not sought to enforce their own versions of criminal law, they have steadily built up their capacity to deal with civil matters within their own religious codes. What's more, they are doing it with the help of English law.
The Beth Din is the most formally entrenched of these minority courts. The UK's main Beth Din is based in Finchley, north London.
It oversees a wide range of cases including divorce settlements, contractual rows between traders and tenancy disputes.
The court cannot force anyone to come within its jurisdiction. But once someone agrees to settle a dispute in the Beth Din, he or she is bound in English law to abide by the court's decision.

this is total BS. just a worthless executive filling the people who pay his wage with a load of nonsense so they'll keep paying. stop funding RIAA now and the companies would save a hell of a lot of money.
ya know I'm just about sick of trying to give a shit about Muslim feelings. they of all people should realize that the profit's image can only be there if Allah wills it to be so, and if He's fine with it, they might as well shut up too.
that is the most offensive thing I've read all day. thousands of people starved to death or died in the depression. every program the government started under FDR involved people WORKing to earn some money because the capitalist asses had no job on offer. So people had work, because FDR made it available. Try learning some fucking history instead of being fed right-wing fascist ideology all fucking day you god damned moron.
I'm not seeing any torrent problems. there was a blip when this all flared up for a few days seemed like I couldn't seed, but I'm able to seed and receive now. In fact, reception speed seems higher than ever. Would like to see if this is still happening or was an isolated regional issue, or what the heck? am I being given the rope to hang myself? What's going on?
enterprise, while I feel sorry for the actors, who tried, was not star trek. Voyages was BS, the last REAL Star Trek was Deep Space 9.
CBS has decided they hate star trek fans. Look at that worthless piece of garbage they put out called star trek legacy. the devs and green-lighters on that project should be beamed into open space. They openly say, "we don't want to develop this for star trek fans, it's got to targeted to the lowest common denominator" = this is a completely retarded business decision that has effectively killed the franchise going on the last 10 years. Just imagine any other property being treated like this... "we're not going to make this football program for football fans..." yeah right, that'd really work. Well, this is the brain-dead attitude of the corporate retards who have done their best to ruin star trek. Frankly I'm sick of it and they can just go to hell, they're not getting one thin dime out of me, I'm rather going to do my best to help them loose the trademark and force the whole deal into the public domain. they've utterly failed and they've been leaching off this fan base for decades. it's over!
consolidation and settling in haven't started yet, google has plenty of time, if they come out with good stuff, it'll peel people away from the others no problem. Also, there's still a lot of people who haven't wadded in to the whole thing yet...
the fairy rotodyne was a much better design, and in the mid 50s had remarkable decent preformace metrics compared with today's v22. With modern technology the basic design should be able to surpass the v22. Why this wasn't done is anyones guess. My bet: a "jets are cool propellers are old attitude."
nothing. relax and wait for google to fix the problem, as they surely will. Everything has some vulnerabilities, but the odds of them targeting me out of millions of people is very low. so low it's not a risk I feel any need to worry about. The endless "security" mantra is bullshit, mostly used to whip clueless consumers into making various moves from or to some product. Really it's an iterative process, an arms race if you will. Anything can happen. your office or home can be broken into very easily too ya know. So what? If you're really so fucking concerned about your precious pictures being access through picasa, maybe you should just learn to burn them to a cd and mail them to people.
but so are people who dress like stormtroopers for fun. Closet fascists every one.

they can't play nice so they don't get to keep it.
stop the wart crimes and pull out.
the OS isn't seen by them, they're looking at applications running on top of the OS. User interface isn't the same thing as OS.

it's a landfall point for undersea cables to become land-based cables isn't it?

wouldn't they be talking about sharepoint?
if slashdot's going to start linking to worldnetdaily, I'm outta here.
calling this 50 million 'developers' is a bit of a joke too. you might as well call me a slashdot developer since I was able to post this message.

and any companies that make it. There's no reason why people developing this shit should just walk away with a nice pay check. Shame them for life.
so if they don't vote revoke their P level membership. and throw god damned microsoft the hell out.
Is he related to Lance Lord, leader of the US Space Command?
this is just stinking PR, please...
