However, that is better than not having internet access. Another interesting thing is that you want the internet for free, that sounds pretty socialistic.....

Do you honestly feel that Bush is calling the shots in the White House? Do you honestly believe that W Bush assembled this team. After all his cabinet is basically the same as is fathers. Also, You must have pretty interesting politcal views as you are against Gore (and thus probably a Bush supporter) and are criticizing the comercialization of the internet. You will notice that from a political stand point he did take the initiative to create the internet. With out his help the internet as we know it would have been delayed. Also, he never said he "Invented the Internet". Al Gore said that he took the initiative to create the internet. Meaning that he championed the technology.

I read those books when I was a teenager and thought that our country would never let it hapen. 12 years later I have read those books again and now I see how easily it could happen and is begining to happen. True, there is nothing that they could have done to prevent the bubble from bursting. However, they could have prevented it from sliding as much as it did. Bush's misserable foreign policy is to blame. Interesting to look back at 2000-2001 when Bush was pushing isolationalism and condeming nation building activties. Then 9/11 comes along and he sees that we have to be involved in the world community. Unfortunately he mistook involvment with imperialism.... If the global community does not respect the president of the US. Do you think that the global economy will do well? First step to a good recovery is to get a president that can be respected by the community. Bush's role in the White House is questionable. Who is really in charge in the White House? Rumsfeild or Rove??? The rest of the world is asking theses questions. Why aren't the people of the US???

Sounds like A terorist activity to me... I do agree with you that London is safer than most of the Big US cities. However, I don't think this is due to CCTV. You are very wrong. The newer diesel engines don't put out soot. Even with soot the egines are not that bad since the soot is heavy and falls to the earth fast. The soot falls to the ground much faster and it is harder to breath into the lungs. The petrol cars release emisions which are much lighter and thus get suspended in the air and also are much easier to breath in. There are some toxens that diesel engines produce more of.
