the part of encarta that they probable liked the most was the little clips and such it comes with. I remember on of my first PCs had encarta that came with it, it was neat because I could look up pictures and video of interesting things.

So even though wikipedia sounds good, it is rather bland and dull to the average person. Encarta is a winner in this case.

Having something like this on your record, having to go to court, and having to explain to your parents that you were arrested! You realise in the future if he's ever arrested they see a previous record and they will go harder on him. Oh well, I dont really know what they did to him since I am late and I didn't read the article.

Read about vonage, hell sign up! they just lowered their prices... AGAIN! Only recently did I get my account unfrozen, I called them and complained and talked to about 7 people until I finally got some manager that unfroze my account because the buyer hadn't responded to any of their e-mails.

A way for you to get your account unfrozen is show proof of a new item shipped. UPS tracking number would be enough and it should be unsuspended imediately.

I wasn't affected in the least, maybe at work I had some extra calls but that was only after the news started scaring people and surely not when people became infected.

In all actuality he probably made us all a few extra dollars. I'm not sure why you all hate virus writers so much, personally I've never once had a virus and I once went 2 years without an anti-virus. If you all are so great, how were you so easily infected? I've done the bare minimum to be secure, and security wasn't even in my mind when I setup my systems. I think you all are just projecting your anger on someone else because you weren't bright enough to secure yourselves.

I'm probably going to be modded as flamebait but it's the truth, I don't see how you people were affected so much other than probably some extra free time at work.

Also for those of you saying there are lots of spammers that use comcast, most of these letters we send out are to spammers. So quit talking shit when you know nothing, comcast has done nothing wrong and maybe you should all actually read a letter to find out what BS this story is.

If you learn how to program efficiently to start it wont be hard to program just as fast without all the crappy code. Alot of people seem to think that it must take ages to make a program use less resources, there are alot of little tricks that will lower resources that can be used in almost any project.

The excuse I allways hear is "it takes to long to make it run better", if it was done right the first time you wouldn't have to go back and rewrite/structure the code to be more resource efficient.

Right now the "bank account" I have is in someone elses name. I just use that to keep some money saved, the rest I keep in large bills. I make plenty more than 13k per year about 5 times that much on average.
