    Urgh, nothing bugged me more, that episode was an abhomination.
    I really thought nothing could make Voyager worse than it was until that episode aired.

    I doubt it highly, they still have to move the data stream along some medium... I hate Star Trek theory, makes me feel a whole lot geekier than could possibly be healthy

    Sadder than you owning the TNG Technical Manual is me knowing that warp 1 in both series is c, however in TOS warp scales uniformly, but TNG it scales exponentially where warp 10 is instantaneous travel between any 2 points. This was semi covered by your parent post, but hey, this is slashdot! Who bothers to read the posts?

    and i think there was some Cayenne pepper in there too, although don't quote me on that!

    The GPL isn't allowed to be upheld then? Is that what Forbes is trying to say?
    I mean, its not like linksys were forced into using and adapting GPL software, and now Forbes, and clearly lynksys et al. feel that they should be allowed to renege on the deal? No way.
    Seriously, why could they not use bsd licensed stuff from the word go. Hell I would if I was in that kind of business.
    And the word Comrade at the end of the article. Come on, thats just stereotyping of the worst variety.

    Yeah, 2 years ahead is really leading the americans on this issue... aside from the fact that this has been done, and standard practise more often than not, in the UK for an absolute minimum of 3 years, and probably more like 5 or more.

    Wow, where do I start?
    Linux DOES crash, running the latest version (assuming mean the ACTUAL latest version, not the latest stable version) is more likely to do more harm than good regarding stability issues.
    And the spelling, I mean, I'm not really a grammar, or spelling nazi (I can't afford to be!), even mine is typically better than yours!
