Personally, I'm afraid that if this Sims TV thing pans out, then someone at EA (or even worse, their marketing dept.) will get the bright idea that Coc--err--Rooster Teeth is a threat to their power and will either try to a) sue them into non-existance or b) absorb the animators in to their ever-growing mass (and disposing of RvB in the process); giving the gaming community one more reason to dispise EA. I see only one solution to this problem:
Summon the soul of Maxis and infuse it into a mecha.
Enlist Sid Meier to pilot said giant robot.
Fly to EA headquarters, and reduce the complex to rubble.
Maxis-bot will then strike a neat pose and fly off into the sunset.
My question is this:
"Many game companies now recognize your website as a bit of a gaming review site (or at least you've tricked them into thinking that). What sorts of things have they given/done for you all, and have they affected the way you see yourselves as gamers?"
Believe it or not, Science Fiction isn't the same as Science Fact. Ever see those clips of astronauts constantly exercising? They need to do that keep up their muscles out of atophy. If muscles will atophy for an otherwise active astronaut, don't you think they'll get even worse for a hibernating astronaut? The issue of hibernating isn't as easy as it seems. Biologists today don't even fully understand animal hibernation on earth.
My mistake. Silly American over here. Most I know of British gov't is all received from half-drunken exchange students (80% incoherent, 90% negative, 170% interesting).
Proprietary means the radio station (or anything else you're talking about for that matter) is owned by a private entity, unlike the BBC, which is funded/owned by the state (though not as extreme as the state-controlled media one may find in an oppressive dictatorship).
I for one am really excited that HG2G has finally made its way back to radio. And on top of that, I can listen to it hassle-free (not as in beer) and free (as in beer) of charge over the internet. I wish listening to American proprietary radio stations was always this easy.
How about a .wiki TLD? It's just crazy enough to work, considering the countless wikis to be found out there. Wiki Wiki Wiki!
That doesn't seem to be the right address anymore, try this instead: http://www.google.com/translate?u=http://www.groks ter.com&langpair=en&hl=en&ie=UTF8
I'll get it out of the way and declare this new state of matter Mand! Because Sarble would just be stupid sounding. Really.
True, but in Soviet Russia, nuclear weapons have old people! (I'm very sorry, but it had to be said)
I wonder how many Slashdotters got curious and visted the site mentioned in the parent's subject line. I know I did!
Photonic engineer: Hey, you got computer chips in my lasers!
Computer engineer: Hey, you got lasers in my computer chips!
Both: Hmm...
...Sony will license a PSP version of Ninja Gaiden, and integrate this feature into the mini-game.

Well I for one welcome our new alien over--I'm sorry, I'm reading from the wrong story. Well I for one welcome our new lost civilization overlords...
