Now needing a driver doesn't mean it is not UVC standards compliant as you still can need a driver for the extension to the spec if implemented. Baring that, you can use graphedit, KsStudio, and USBEdit to see what is happening. Might be something as simple as a dodgy cable too. But in my experience, audio with no video tends to be codec related.

Everyone's will increase which means that on top of this $50 hypothetical, the food bill will increase, the doctor bill will increase, your rent will likely increase because others will have to find the money to pay their bill and they need to cover costs plus profit if they want to stay in business.
Used to be that you could recover a trashed bios by renaming a boot rom and putting it on a floppy. Sometimes there was a few key combination to hold. It has been a while since I had to even mess with it though. That is likely out of the question now.
I'm surprised there isn't something default recover mode..rm just deletes stuff so it is still there should be a way to undelete. Also the boot sector used to be copied to another part of the hard drive. Is there something backup of the EUFI?
