Labrynth still haunts me.. the jaws theme has NOTHING on that thing...
No no, the Water Warning music gave me heartattacks. Any time I hear that music I just freeze up... I really shouldn't listen to the remix while driving...
The show you're probably refering to was entitled "Sonic the Hedgehog" but most people refer to it as SatAM (Saturday Morning Sonic). It was the most serious and darkest of all the Sonic cartoons.
The first Sonic cartoon was "Adventures of.." which was very Road Runner-esque. Cartoony and set the in desert with a lot of goofy characters. Then 'SatAM' came along and revolutionized people's thoughts on Sonic (And Jaleel White [Urkel on Family Matters] did an awesome Sonic voice). A few years after it got cancelled or whatever happened to pull the plug, "Sonic Underground" came out. It was horrible, I won't even go into it... Some people swear by it, though. Now, there's "Sonic X," it being done in Japan instantly makes it popular. Trying to make sense of the nonsensical Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 (and even the GBAdvance games) plots, it's thrown in a lot of weird elements, but.. a lot of people like it.
Arguably, SatAM was the most serious and well done (Character wise) and had a continual plot. Sonic X is doing pretty good, but we'll have to wait and see how it finishes out.
Why hum it when you've learned to play it on guitar?
For those interested, there are several Videogame tabulature sites VGJam and Nintendo Tabs are some of the better ones I've found. VGJam has a nice selection of Sonic tabs, though.
There were also Palette issues. If I remember correctly from hacking communities, changing Sonic's colors to Knuckles' (the change that comes with putting him in) changed a lot of other object's colors (including the sky).
music is easily found with a bit of work
Huh?
Finding rare Videogame and Anime soundtracks is a pain in the buttocks. I've tried to download songs for weeks after searching for days to find them. And with Bittorrent it's even worse, I can never connect to a tracker.
Let's list the Gameboy's that have been released so far, shall we?
Gameboy
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance
(Not including the reincarnations of the same handheld [IE: GBASP, GBP, GB'C', etc.])
Seems like the next Gameboy would be GB4... Are you combining the GB and GBC together? They were definately seperate systems. If a game can be played on one console and not the one before it, that's when I'd seperate them (Yes, there were GBC exclusive games).
We're all curious about the holes ancient Egyptians had drilled in the heads of various patients for no apparent reason, I wonder what future generations will say about these skeletons?
I have a small LCDCrystalfontz screen (20x4 or something like that), that with LCDriver (I think that's the right one) you can use Winamp to display the titles onscreen and even do waveforms, along with a slew of other things. It's not as big or as potentially pretty as that might be, but.. It's sweet none-the-less.
Granted, the webcasts won't be CD quality, (or 128 kbits/sec [which is still feasible]), but it wouldn't be horrible quality, like FM or anything. You underestimate the power of broadband.
At one of the few Sonic Fan gaming communities, we have a bi-yearly week long 'E3'-esque expo (S.A.G.E., not currently in operation), online only. Along with that, we do radio broadcasting during that week. Typically, we only have like 2 or 3 computers with DSL or Cable streaming out the cast including the computer doing the webcast. With enough distribution (say, on a P2P network) you could keep the quality high, and have more than 4 listeners on the webcast (At most, we usually had 20, pretty low-key operation, but you'll see my point, keep reading).
We had to set all that up ourselves, but with this program, it seems to (/could) do it automatically. As a listener ( IP 1.1.1.2) joins the Station (IP 1.1.1.1), they both become distributors of that station's broadcast. So, when the next few listeners come in, they're getting distribution from 1.1.1.1 and 1.1.1.2, plus they distribute that same signal themselves.
Everyone listening through Mercora duplicates the signal and becomes a node to distribute the bandwidth load (or at least has the potential to be).
As digital cameras keep getting higher and higher resolution, the need for space is going to keep increasing. In a few years, ultra high res pictures (20-30+ MegaPixels?) may take 500mb per picture. Insane, yes. But hopefully they'll use some sort of compression. Regardless 12gb would only give you enough room for about 24 pictures if that were the case... Besides, don't most PDAs take Compact Flash cards? Think of all the mp3's/games/docs/photos/anything could fit on that for PDA use.
There are plenty of books out there with opposing arguements. You don't have to look too hard to find scientists who support Evolution to their death, whereas Lee finds some who are could be considered 'against the grain'. Granted, it's not a fair showing of all the sides of the issue, but it's not meant to be the final word on the subject. Don't ever let just one book/theory finalize your judgement on something. Research for yourself goes a long way.
Several books you should check out if you want to see credible scientists and/or philosophers who oppose the Evolutionary theory and their reasons behind such:
I think the real thing that attracted people to Goldeneye is not that it was the first Console FPS, but the first MULTIPLAYER console FPS. When I think back on Goldeneye, I don't remember the long difficult single player, but of the lengthy sessions of deathmatch with friends. Even if it was only 4 people at a time, it still rocked.
If it used Minidisc type media, that'd be alright, don't have to worry all that much about scratches, but portability is still a problem. Minidiscs are small, but not as small as GBA carts..
But... in SMB you could jump on enemie-oh wait...
Uh... Mario could get powerups-um...
Well.. in SMB2 you could pick different charcters-oh...
Mario had to fight bosse-hm.. Okay, so Sonic had a few, too.
Uh..Um... Mario had '2'player first! Nyeh!

Stock up on printer paper and ink cartridges.
Come to think of it, you may want some filing cabinets as well (Only ~1.5 mb per 8.5x11 sheet).

Ugh, yet another useless colored/patterned accessory to be sold alongside Cellphone cables.

Bonus points right there.

Not just share, but do it/receive it for free.
Definately manga has begun hitting hard.
I actually saw a girl showing off some manga books she'd just bought to her friends... who were girls!

You can't have nice things and show them off to potential idiots.
Would you walk down New York's main drag yelling out about your brand new gold plated diamond encrusted Rolex?

New Evidence that Demands A Verdict - Josh McDowell
The Case For A Creator - Lee Strobel
(Frankly, anything by Lee Strobel, former atheist and writer for Chicago Tribune, is fantastic.)
I have a few other titles floating around my bookshelves if you're interested. Just thought you might want to see the other side of the issue.

But... then they won't be able to sell those Karaoke single track CD's with MIDI-ized versions of the songs!
