These people are wrong not just from the point of view of an atheist but even as far as the Church history is concerned -- i.e. other Christians regard them as "nutty".

It is true. I am an Orthodox Christian living in Greece and indeed, when we see what American Protestant Christians are preoccupied with we are just appalled. It does look extremely stupid and "nutty" and is mostly harmless except for some cases. One of them is this creationsm bonanza.

It is also, as you say, funny how they consider bible holy and interpret it literally. Every kid here knows that bible is a bunch of notes taken by early church fathers so that future generations would not forget what this Jesus thing was all about.

This interview once again shows that Gates can not possibly have a public carrier. If he runs for office, this interview will be dug up and incriminated against him. Furthermore Gates perfectly fits description of Antichrist. No Christian will ever vote for him.

  4. Bill Gates is not a public figure on Scott Adams Suggests Bill Gates For President · · Score: -1

Bill Gates has no charisma. His public speaking is dull and not interesting; he can not rally the people. He can not withstand criticism: lust look at videos about him on Youtube where he is humiliated; he just sits there trying to smile, he does not even try to crack a joke. Bill Gates has a habit of rocking back and forth like an imbecile when sitting on a chair. Bill Gates has absolutely no chance of being elected.

If we want to chose a president among IT industry executives more prominent persons like Steve Jobs or Larry Ellison come to mind. They are well mannered, charismatic and attractive persons.

if the patent license and royalty payments are between microsoft and the customer, then are the customers in violation of section 7 of the gpl? This could be bad news for SuSE customers...

It can be the case if you buy a SuSE Enterprise Linux Desktop bundled with Microsoft's "covenant". If you use your SuSE Linux to write GPL code Microsoft can now sue you for breach of this "covenant" rather than for patent infringement.

Beware developers. Microsoft aims here at ability of you, as independent developers, to write and distribute code you wrote.
