    I wish I was up for a vote with my Etheme. I used to be a "big boy" back in the e15 days. So what if my theme is a MacOS knock off? I put a lot of work into it, I hacked a bunch of stuff to get it working (much kludge) like getting the Macbar to work, adding a taskmenu button. I even wrote some C patches to E to fix some stuff. Unlike the KDE/GNOME/SLL etc folk, I guess the only way to get recognition for themes is to be original.

    Even with my name in the Draw 9 credits as a beta tester, I wonder how life working for Corel is. After reading Microserfs I imagine most large software companies run into the same problem of keeping employees happy. And please don't cop out and say you do it by working on the most exiting products!

    I am sure that atleast version 3 of the flash format IS open. Checkout the flash site. I'd be surprised if the newest isn't open as well. It's been that way for a while.

    SO what if it isn't open sourced? It is the best by far, from everythign I've used. Are there any real equivilents that ARE opensourced? I've been looking for a while! I currently use a linux server with appletalk and appleshare IP running and use bbedit to edit my linux files. That's all I use the mac for!

    Until I find another editor that shows my perl code's functions in a drop down, I can't switch!

    The Corel File manager looks cool, but is it open sourced? If I install *regular* debian, is there any way to install the Corel file manager on that?

    Maybe you dont write email about assasinating the president but *I* certainly do. And I don't think it is very fair that the NSA is listening. I mean, did I really want them coming to my door and telling me they know what I've been planning? Goddamn it, I didn't need their weapons then and I don't need them now.     Are colormodifiers still broken? My theme depends on this feature, and now its gone. I don't really want to use the new version if my theme will stop working. Also, whats up with e.themes.org? Why isn't it working yet? If you follow the links to the top 5s on the front page, they show a different top 5!

    Now I have a Diamond VooDoo Banshee. I've been trying to compile xfree 3.3.5 to get banshee support, but i keep getting errors about not having a doc dir. I though X could compile without the docs? My other question is how should I configure X once I get it installed? I usually use rh's setup utility to launhc XConfigurator, but I wonder if that program will be properly updated to support my new card?

    Open in new window is the major command i use. try it. you never have to go back to the slashdot forum, you can just keep it open and open new windows for each thread. big big time saver for those of us in slow connections.
