Whereas this has too many joysticks. The renderings show a directional pad, a pair of joysticks, four buttons, and what looks like a rocker switch. How are you going to emulate games that need all that on a PC?
Modular -- Screen unit detaches from the controller. Carry just the screen unit around for media on the go. Swap controllers for a customized gaming experience.
A detachable screen? I though the form factor in the renderings was bad, but a detachable screen is worse! What happens if you lose the screen -- will they send you a replacement? How are they going to keep the contacts clean?
HIV is a double stranded DNA virus. Very different and it uses the cells own DNA polimerase to replicate itself and create teh proteins for the new virus. Very different.
If you were a bio major, you would know that HIV is a retrovirus, which carries its genome in RNA, and uses reverse transcriptase to copy itself into DNA.
Unless that virus can stay in your body indefinitely (meaning without your immune system eventually killing it) HIV will still win. It tends to hide in various places in your body like lymph nodes and can strike at almost any time. That's why some people go 10 or 20 years before getting sick as well as why you can reduce your virus count to undetectable with current meds but it will pop back up if you stop taking them.
It piggybacks on HIV. As long as there's a certain minimum level of HIV in the body, it'll stick around.
If this proves effective, I can anticipate people who'll get the treatment, then use that as another item on their list of "why you should have unsafe sex with me tonight".
There've been a few cases of a doctor using the "I've been injected with the cure for <insert fictional disease that patient supposedly has> and the only way for you to get it is to have sex with me" line. This may be the first time that it's true!
A.wav file at 128kbps is going to sound absolutely awful. At 8 bits per sample (which sounds pretty bad no matter what), 128kbps gives you a sample rate of only 16khz, so any frequencies above 8khz will be lost. If you up the sample quality to 16 bit (CD quality), the sample rate goes down to 8khz (4khz frequencies).
And this is for monaural sound. If you want stereo, cut the sampling rate in half -- this might cut it for voice, but it won't work for anything else.
Can you even see Spaceship 1 at 200,000? If I recall, the engine cuts off and Spaceship 1 coasts up the rest of the way, so there is no trail to follow.
True, there's no exhaust track. But you can follow it on radar, or through a telescope, or you can estimate the altitude based on altitude and velocity at engine cutoff.
Odd. My experience is that 93 octane gas gives about 10% better gas milage than 87 octane. Of course, it costs 20% more, so it's not worth the extra expense.
It damn well better come with Office or someone's going to have to explain to me how my Mac OS version of open office using X11 can print to PDFs using a windows driver from adobe.
It's a special print driver from Apple. All versions of MacOS X come with it.
It doesn't matter what speed the engine's running at, or how it's optimized, it's still going to produce NOx, and CO. They're byproducts of internal combustion. And external combustion, for that matter.
True, but there is such a thing as "close enough" to none. If you're running at a constant speed, it's easy enough to make sure there's enough oxygen to react with the carbon monoxide, and you can get reasonable control of the operating temperature.
At least we can all agree on a standard clock!
You sure of that? My watch says it's currently 13:17.

Fundamentalism was overpowered if you wanted to conquer the world. That's why both FreeCiv and Civ 3 droppeed it.
Warning: That link is a redirect to "peoplesprimary.com". I have no idea what's on the site.
Different inputs. At the very least, you'll need a way to map the d-pad and the buttons to the appropriate keys/mouse/whatever.

Can it play monkey island?
Not until someone ports ScummVM to it.

But it can only pass itself along in the presence of HIV. You might almost say it's a virus's virus.

FLAC! Flac-a-flac-a-flac!
Aflac? What does a silly duck have to do with sound compression?
I must have missed the news about the government rounding up Jewish people.
It won't be the Jews this time. It'll be the Muslims. Or maybe just the "potential terrorists".
Just for the record, I'm not trying to be funny here. Neither am I trying to troll. I'm serious.
Does anyone know of job openings in British Columbia for a computer programmer with two years' job experience?

Counterexample:
'86 Camry. Recommended gas grade: 87 octane
87 octane: 31 mpg
93 octane: 33 mpg
No change in driving patterns, automobile conditions, or average weather between the two tests.

What? No 23" Apple Studio Display? I'm disappointed.
90cents a Litre Gas
That's not looking too bad anymore. Gas here just broke US$2.15 a gallon.

"something" is better than "nothing", isn't it?
