Went "This game is boring and has no dynamics, reminds me of a dark half life. It has a horrible story." Uinstalled the game and microwaved the cd's. Then called all my friends and proceeded to get made fun of for hating doom 3.
In that case, piracy saved me spending above market standard for a shitty game. Its a shame too, the doom3 engine is awesome. The game sucks donkey balls.
No, really, unless you are using vbscript or activeX, there is really no reason why your site cant display properly in mozilla. Mozilla can display flash, it can do tables, divs, etc. There is no reason to use activeX for menus and forms. I dont buy that it takes too much time to make a seperate css file and put in a detect browser script to use the right css file.
But looking right really isn't the problem. If you dont use IE only html and activeX. You can design a site to look exactly like what you want without using IE only functions. It might not look the same in Mozilla, but its going to look damn close. Hell if you do web design properly you could even let mozilla view your page without a css file so its unformatted. Of course IE only web designers still dont do layout with css, even though it will work in IE just fine.
1)Observing every other 3DTA clone they seem to all degenerate to a lot of discussion about background story and website design with very little actual coding going on. Better keep a small focused team.
Just because a project is open source, you dont have to expand a team. Just a download of the source would be all it takes to make it open source. Also, if you are honest and good at what you do, I wouldn't worry about forks.
It all comes down to doing what is best in your minds. My only hope would be that if you ever decide to abandon the project you would release the source code.

Ok, why are their no quality providers in northwest indiana. I have friends on all of them and I have yet to get in a single conversation without a dropped call or a "what, what, your breaking up". I refuse to get a cell phone until I can have a 10 minute phone converstation with one of my friends without calling them back from a disconnect.
I'm just the reverse of you. I use perl for small hacks and scripts people need to do this or that on their webpage, but when I start to write a large project in perl I quickly get into a big mess. I find php is much more in line with how I code, and php5 looks even more promising.

This is a classic troll. If you can't win with facts, change the subject. Also appear like you dont care either way, but you want your opinion out there. Durring my years working at some comapny, my boss was shot in the face, this is why sco has a good solid case.
All I got from the sections that applied to the subject was that he has a very clear misunderstanding of how open source works. He attempts to get the reader to belive that if you write software for linux, you must make it open source (kinda like saying if you write software for MS windows, it must be closed source, and MS owns the software).
The only truth I read was when he pointed out that companys only give things away for free when they know they will make money on it. WELL DUH! Why does IBM want to sell linux? Hardware and support contacts. But that is not proof positive that linux costs money. It does not cost money. Linux is not hardware, it is not training, it is not support. Those are things you may need to run linux, but you will need all those thngs to run any other OS out there. And I would be happy to burn you off a CD of any linux distro you like, FREE of charge.

I could see this leading to a rise of uninsured drivers. I know most car crashes i've been in have been the other driver's fault. And most of them (who were of a low income range) had no insurance.

I had to run bittorrent and get my upload rate close to my max on my cable modem and turn of the port priority for the ports that my phone uses. Besides that test, I have been unable to effect my conversations with normal use of bittorrent and internet downloads.
Just wanted to let you know, I use vonage, and I run that little black box they sent me behind my router/firewall. All I had to do was forward a few ports and setup priority.

I am sure now that you are a troll. My wisdom teeth grew in sideways along the jaw bone. This caused horrible pain and shifted my teeth forward. Removing them fixed my long term migrane issues as well as allowed more room inbetween my teeth which made them easier to clean.
My nephew's family has a box that allows them to moderate everything about tv for him. It can block channels, language, even individual shows. It can be done if parents want to take responsibility for their children. Unfortunatly, as we've learned with video games, this country is lacking on good parents.
When I didn't listen to my parents, I got an ass whoppin. When my best friend next door didn't listen, he got a "time out". Guess which one has his own house and doesn't live with his parents?
