    It might be more accurate to use the term PE (processing element) instead of CPU, but it's certainly acceptable. Think of it this way: each CPU is central to its own node. (Unless, of course, there are multiple processors per node...) The CNet article doesn't go into much depth about the supercomputer's actual architecture.

    Hehe, this thread is funny. I would have to agree with FascDot, though. You have forgotten one important thing:

    Joe Slaver thinks that human beings deserve the utmost respect. He also believes that blacks are subhuman. Is Joe hypocritcal when he beats his slaves?

    Joe Slaver is not being hypocritical. His actions (beating the slave) are consistent with his belief (blacks are subhuman).

    Absolute disgrace of a movie? I didn't think it was quite that bad. It was entertaining enough to be worth my $6. Certainly doesn't deserve any awards for anything, however. Not great, not awful.

    As for Gump vs. SR vs. PF, that would be a tough call; obviously the Academy went for the film with the broadest appeal.

    Pulp Fiction über-shitty? Come on -- even if you didn't care for it, you have to at least admire it.

    Not when the only options for off-campus housing are cheap apartments, run-down houses that no one takes care of, and way-too-expensive apartments that only the extremely rich can afford.

    At my school, on-campus is the only way to live. The T1 is a nice added bonus.
