the missle defense system arent we already going to be in big trouble. I hardly think that a first strike today would only consist of ICBM launched from across the globe. If effective it would only help minimize damage.
Well since this is like the second attempt at creating this missle defense system, why dont we wait till version 3.0 comes out. I am sure they will have a patch to cover this scenario, but then we will discover that through a buffer over run you will be able to defeat the system.
true, it has been different but i think the authors are trying to bring more humanity to the story this year. But i dont know about boring, i thought when Jack went nutty on Cummings with the knife made up for a clear lack of violence in some of the past episodes.
I think what gave google the initial boost was just how it came up with its own way of doing things and how it tried to be unique. Goodle products were made by google people, and many of them were a result of employees just thinking up new ways to do things. Sure not always it was ground breaking, but they tried approaching challenges with a different perspective. If google starts buying up areas that it wants to expand to it will loose its charm. I think they are already beginning to face this challenge and loose some popularity because of their actions. Google wake up, every thing you do now is going to be scrutinized.
eh and then shortly after we all get chipped someone walks by us with a small handheld device and changes our identity. Now we are some wanted bank robber.
but on the plus side depending on where they put the chips the tinfoil hats might work.
So the are trying to get a bigger foothold in the india market for computer sales, so the board members can make an extra buck or two. Dont see how this is going to help John Q Public unless you want to buy some stocks (DELL: 29.52 +0.25 / +0.85%). But the charts on their stock dont look that good.
They report though that the XBOX 360 is a large part of their increased revenue. MSNBC Article Now this doesnt make sense one bit since they lowered the prediction on unit sales for 360 and they loose over $100 per unit. I am slightly confused by their numbers.
I think the best way of looking at this is with money.
Who are your customers, and what are the demographics of their systems. Windows 98 is still a very prevelant system out there. I am writing this post from a computer that is still running windows 98. The big questions are
How many are you going to loose by not including their system? how many can you afford to loose? And how much would it cost to include them?

I wonder if anyone ever tried to look up these guys. Kind of blatent calling card if you ask me.
ah here a great human error story. House gets blow up because they connected the wrong gas line. Home in Lexington explodes. If a company that has the maps of all of its own gas lines can do this. Think of the possibilities when DHS tries to classify the listing of all the fiber optic in the US
So the DHS wants to protect this infrastructure by making the location of such lines protected. Which of course is not going to help the situation because when you call Dig Safe they wont know whats under you. So you run the risk of severing more cables, and you run the risk of injury to the workers. I tip my hats to them.
I would love to see what all these "oops" cost. Fiber optic is not exactly cheap, and it is a little more complicated than just reconnecting the severed ends. And then take network down time etc.
so the question is will the MPAA and RIAA go after the state government? Will the state turn the individuals responsible over to these private companies.
Eh, they better have a plan B. I see this as a real source of potential problems. Who takes responsibility for errors? Trouble with the delivery of the message, trouble with the phone, and how are they sure that this system cant be duped either. For where there is a will there is a way.
in mother russia... camel rides you
Insurance is for people who cant do statistics
hopefully, but the problem is looking at their track record they often try to respond to such challenges by silencing them.
and you wonder why newspapers have been struggling recently. The price one has to pay to have a subscription is just too much.
